********

My day ends with an aloof surrounding, the curious look from other members, especially women and children. The glare and cold stare from alphas and other betas. The icy tone when they don't have a choice but to talk to me when the head alpha ordered them to tell me something.

My room was assigned in a house with pack warriors, although I have my own room and privacy, I can still smell the scents of sweats, shampoo, and a hint of candy mix in the air.

The small size bed has no space on both sides to move freely. The dirty white linen covers it and a pillow with a floral design.

A bathroom door in front of my bed that takes ten steps and you are there.

I heave a sigh,

My mind was occupied by Klaus again so I decided to freshen up myself and shrug off the feelings of loneliness.

The water from the shower makes me calm, a cold and melodious sound of it as it keeps on pouring on my naked body. My body misses the relaxed feeling after the hell I've been through just to find this place.

*****

I walk toward the bed and lay my back on it. Unexpectedly, I feel comfortable.

The scent from earlier is undeniably from Klaus, wether he visits the pack to make sure that I reach here or I'm just paranoid.

A sudden knock on my door woke me up from my deep thought,

"Sir, I have brought your food. " the voice of a woman was heard behind the closed door.

I stand up and walk towards my door to get whatever food it is, I open it and saw a woman with auburn hair, and a fair complexion, wearing a cloth that I can say she's a servant of the pack.

Loose grey shirt, a long skirt that almost covers her feet, her messy auburn hair tied up with a yellow rubber band.

She stood there bowing her head low, holding a tray of food.

I reach out my hand to take the tray from her, she didn't dare to meet my eyes as I uttered thank you to her.

"This is better than in a military base camp. " I said to myself while looking at the food.

A soup that smells like herbs that I don't know, a piece of fried meat with rosemary that almost covers half of it, a set of carrots and cabbage thinly sliced with red sauce on top of it.

"I have no right to whine, I am the one who came here. " I said to myself, trying to make the moment more comfortable.

I place the tray above my bed, looking at it.

I took a deep breath and hold the spoon firmly,  scooping the soup to taste, I'm surprised that it taste good.

Stabbing the meat with the fork they provided, the smell of rosemary is too strong that it hides the smell of the meat. Taking a bite to taste, it's chewy and salty.

My eyes stare at the carrots and cabbage mixed with red sauce on top, I scoop a little and find out that the red sauce is made of tomato.

"It has no hint of tomato smell, "  I said and sniff the sauce.

I admit I was starving,

I finished the food with contentment but the problem now is where to put the used tray.

I decided to go out to bring it back to the kitchen but as I open my door, the woman who brings my food is waiting still bowing her head low.

"I'm sorry? " I said that made her flinch.
