The night is young and the rainwater flows in the direction of every small pathway. The dark clouds that are still visible above, the raindrops that have no sign of stopping anytime soon, and the small sound of thunder creeping across the sky.
Draven is moving fast to escape the place, without noticing the danger waiting for him. He heard the howl from the Lycan in the distance. An angry howl, full of despair.
The lightning strike illuminates the dark pathways. Draven halted on his steps as he saw a silhouette of a man standing under the tree in front of him. His eyes flash in red and his senses alert.
The howling continues and that makes Draven look back in fear.
"I can't stay here, " He mumbles and moves fast again.
The rain keeps pouring, making every leaf dance. The cold wind blows, making a creepy sound.
The howl was heard again and this time was ferocious. Draven looks back with fear along with the lightning that strikes again. He looked ahead of him and saw another silhouette but as he was about to stop, a non-beating heart dropped in front of him. His parted and quivering lips are as pale as the cloud in the sky. And as he looked at himself, he saw a hole in his chest.
Footsteps walking gently towards him, the sound of it was like a chain ready for judgment.
"Did you have fun playing your games, my dear Draven? " The man's voice was heard. Scarier than the creepy sound of the wind, bold than the thunder.
Draven's eyes went wide as he held the hole in his chest.
"V-Ventrue..." Draven's voice is shaking in fear, while his whole body trembles.
"It is I, " The ventrue answered in a gentle voice. He stood a few inches away from Draven, with the lifeless heart in the center of them.
Klaus was staring at Draven's quivering lips and his hand reached to touch it. Gently gliding his thumb on it, his hand moves to Draven's nape. His hand tightly clutched a fist of the man's hair and pulled it down, making Draven groan in pain.
"What is your sin, Draven? " Klaus asked and took another step towards Draven, stepping the non-beating heart on the ground.
"V-Ventrue... " Draven's voice was shaking, his eyes full of fear.
"As betrayal against your lord means death and so death will only be your freedom. " Klaus said and twisted Draven's head, pulling it away from his neck. The cracking sound was heard but the scream didn't get to escape from Draven's lips.
As the rain still poured and the lycan howl was still heard, Klaus signaled everyone to begin their hunt for the other vampire rogue.

The wailing sound of the wind, grumbling and hitting every leaf. The lycanthrope who was still searching for his brother is howling ferociously. The frustration inside him and the pain is overwhelming.
He failed to save his brother once again!
His eyes were roaming in every corner, in every area of the cemetery. The scent from the enemies was slowly fading because of the heavy rains, he couldn't track them anymore.
Shit!
He gritted his teeth and punched the tree in front of him.
He releases another howl of anger and frustration, then another howl that slowly fades from his lips as he kneels and lets his tears fall. Letting his emotions envelop his whole being, of losing his brother once again.
