The surrounding is silent and the wind blows gently.

I'm standing at the center of the pack ground, with Elder Emil on my side. The head alpha and luna are in front of us and all pack members are standing quietly around us.

My mind is alert and I'm sure that I am ready for whatever might happen.

I hurt their head alpha and threatened them and killed four members of the pack. I know I have to face the consequences of my action but I don't care anymore. My anger didn't subside yet and I pray that they will show kindness this time for I will still not spare anyone's life.

"Head alpha- " Elder Emil was about to speak but was stopped when the luna held her hand towards elder Emil.

I watch as the Head Alpha Keir took a deep breath and release a sigh. He looks at me with glaring eyes but I saw the hint of defeat in it.

"We would like to apologize for our behavior towards the lycan. Although killing a pack member means equal death we wouldn't impose the penalty. I hope we can start anew, Chase. " Head Alpha Keir said.

I can feel the half-hearted emotion in his tone, maybe he was forced to do an apology instead of killing me.

The wind blows again, I can smell the scent of the flowers in the field and the leaves on the trees passing by my nostril.

"You have to say something, Chase. " I hear Elder Emil's voice and a tap on my back.

I heave a sigh,

"If the apology is not enough lycan, we can set a marriage for you with our daughter. She is just on a mission in the city and she will be back next week, you can have her hand for marriage. " The luna said which made me look at her in surprise.

I look around and I can see everyone's shock.

I took a deep breath and look at Elder Emil, his eyes look back at me as if telling me to say something.

I smirk,

"Thank you for sparing my life, Head alpha Keir. I'm sorry for what I did. " I look at the head alpha and bow a little, the surprise is an understatement. I smile and face the luna who is smiling at me, I can see the anticipation in her eyes as if I can't read the evil thought behind those sweet smiles. "And no! I will not marry your daughter. I have someone waiting for me already. " I smile and bow at her also.

I didn't waste time looking at her face but I heard her gasp as I turn around to walk away.
