The Last Day of a Normal Existence
I woke up like every morning since I was born and got ready. As I finished to apply my mascara i heard an uncommon sound. A siren.
These last days there was a rumor of an incoming apocalypse. In case it was true, my family decided to use every pennies they've saved to buy me a ticket for a thing we heard about, called Outpost which is suppose to be a building to protect some people. Of course, I also gave every money I had to pay this ticket. But I felt guilty to have this privilege to potentially stay alive since the other person I loved couldn't afford it. But maybe all of this was just a rumor, right ?
As I heard this siren, I knew it was not a rumor anymore. Unfortunately before I could even escape my bathroom to go to my family, two men dressed in black came and took me to a black car. Even if I beg them to let me say goodbye, they didn't care. As soon as I was in the car, one of the men gave me a suit to protect myself from the radiation. I didn't fight and put it on me.
The ride was silent until we heard some explosions. At this instant, i didn't feel well at the idea of everything and everyone I knew being erased.The world was being destroyed.
In every day life i'm already a very stressed person so imagine in this situation.
I could feel my stomach turned upside down.
We finally arrived in front of a big building, where two guards were waiting at the first gate. The two men who took me, led me inside.
