"Where are we are going!" I persisted; my boyfriend Noah shook his head with a smile and said, "not telling you". I crossed my arms and slumped back in the passenger seat, "but you know I hate surprises". He grinned and kept his eyes on the road, avoiding my eye contact.

When he slowed the car down, I realised we had arrived at our destination. A theme park. I looked at Noah with wide eyes and grinned before saying, "oh my gosh!". He chuckled whilst unbuckling his seat belt, "you excited" he teased. I undid my seat belt and flung the car door open, "hell yeah!" I exclaimed. He laughed and locked the car before intertwining our hands and guiding me to the entrance.

Noah had already pre booked our tickets, so we went through the pre booked line and quickly made it into the park. The first thing I saw was a giant green roller-coaster with two loops, I glanced at Noah and yelled "we have to try that!". Noah gaped at it and said "yeah but let's go on the litter ones first, to warm up" he said uneasily. I could tell he was nervous, so I tried to hide my smile when saying, "are you scared?". He huffed and shook his head, "no, me? Scared?" he said sarcastically.

I tugged on his jumper sleeve and stood on my tiptoes so I could whisper in his ear, "its okay to be scared". He frowned and crossed his arms, "babe I'm not scared, in fact your right. Let's do that one first" he said far too quickly. I nodded slowly and started walking over to the ride.

Noah trailed behind, I glanced back at him and saw how he was fidgeting and walking extremely slowly. "Noah?" I asked when he was walking beside me, he glanced at me with a strained smile and asked "yeah?". I gulped and looked at him more seriously when saying softly, "I'm not teasing this time. If you really don't want to go on it-" I tried to say but he cut me off by saying "I need to get over my fears, besides I have you there with me". I smiled and added "to hold your hand" in a sarcastic tone. He rolled his eyes with a smile before planting a kiss on top of my head.

We approached the neon green roller coaster and joined the unusually short queue. "Why is the queue so short on a Saturday?" I wondered, Noah looked at me with a worried expression and yelled, "maybe because of the warning sings plotted around!". He pointed at the multiple yellow warning signs with exclamation marks or 'danger' written on them. I shook of his response and argued, "those are for decoration" I said unconfidently. They didn't look like decorations, but I had to be brave for him.

The previous ride had finished, everyone rushed out, mutters and sobs filled the dark room. A few people were crying, and others were walking statically, as if they were in shock. Me and Noah exchanged a worried glance.

"Nope, now I'm terrified" Noah squealed, I gulped and nodded frantically. "Yep same, I can't pretend anymore" I admitted. He looked at me and sighed restlessly, but before we cold change our minds one of the staff members opened the gates to the ride and closed the exit gate. It screeched loudly that my eardrums buzzed, I turned around frantically and saw the closed exit gate. "To late now" I muttered.

The man directed us to the front seats, me and Noah looked at each other with wide eyes and a pure panicked expression. We had no choice but to take our seats, the man pulled the protective barrier in front of us and shouted, "hold tight!".

Noah grabbed my hand, "no me the bar!" I tried to laugh but it came out all croaky. "Help!" He yelled. Before I could say anything, I felt the cart start to move, I looked at him and clutched his hand with one hand and my other was gripped on the safety bar tightly. Noah held onto the bar for his dear life and grimaced when the ride moved into the light.

"Wait where's the track?" I screeched, Noah took a risk and leaned over the bar. "There" He mumbled. I frowned as I felt the cart move to the edge, I was completely regretting my decision, so I squeezed my eyes shut.

When the cart dropped my grasp on Noah's hand tightened and he did the same, it felt like all my insides had dropped. I heard Noah scream at the top of his lungs like a little girl, but I was unable to speak. Instead, my mouth was clamped shut and my eyes were too.

When the first drop was over, I slowly opened my eyes and glanced at Noah, he looked at me and chuckled slightly. I shook my head with a small smile before my expression dropped when I saw Noah gasp. I looked in his eyeline and saw that the track had a corkscrew as well as two loops. "You didn't tell me there was a corkscrew!" Noah yelled at me, "I didn't know!" I shouted back over loud noise of the ride and wind.

We shuffled closer to each other as the corkscrew approached, "I don't want to do this" Noah screamed. I nodded frantically; I was so scared that I couldn't even speak. The roller coaster whizzed upwards quickly and then back down ever faster. We both screamed this time and nearly banged heads by how close we were. My stomach kept dropping which made me feel sick, I hated this feeling.

When the corkscrew fully ended the track was straight for a moment. We both exhaled deeply, I didn't realise I had held my breathe. "Look how pretty the view is" I said to try and lighten the mood, Noah looked around at the tall green trees and laughed. Soon enough we were laughing our heads off so when the first loop came, my stomach felt even worse.

I screamed so hard my voice started to crack and my hair blew across Noah's face, he screamed even louder. "Only another one to go!" I said sarcastically. Noah chuckled and combed my hair out his face, "great!" He said sarcastically.

On this loop I couldn't take it anymore, I threw my arms around him. He did the same and I nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck. I squeezed my eyes shut and muffled a scream, but Noah pulled away and said with a frightened tone, "there's another drop". I cursed under my breath which made Noah giggle slightly.

Surprisingly when the drop came Noah let go of me and the bar and flung his arms up, I gaped at him but found the confidence to do the same.

The ride was over and me and Noah rushed out of our cart and out the building in a flash, "never doing that again!" he yelled. I panted and nodded my head. "Well at least I did it" he shrugged, I looked at him and grinned "I love you". He smiled and kissed my cheek, "I love you two, but I am never trusting you at a theme park again" he laughed and pointed a finger at me.

For the rest of the day, we went on a couple of the smaller rides and ate some donuts. Noah even won me a teddy at the basketball game. He threw five balls into the net and each one went through swiftly that even the worker was shocked. "Which one do you want?" Noah asked, I looked up at the large teddies hung from the banisters and pointed to a cute brown bear. The man passed Noah the bear and then Noah passed it to me, I hugged it tightly and smiled brightly. "Thanks" I muttered in a childish tone he shook his head and laughed before wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

The fact Noah won me a teddy and went on a roller coaster with me even though he was scared made me feel butterflies constantly, he was perfect.

Hey guys hope you liked this one
