LMAO HAHA I HAD TO!!!

I folded my arms across my chest and huffed, I didn't care how petty or childish I was acting, I was annoyed. Noah looked down at his feet and sighed, "I'm sorry baby". I fought the urge to stay silent and responded quietly, "I'm sorry too". Noah stepped forward breaking the invisible wall between us, he grabbed both my hands and squeezed them. I smiled gently and muttered, "I just didn't want you to leave". Noah shook his head and said caringly, "no, I should have fought with the director. Convinced him how important this day is".  I shook my head, a tear rolled down my cheek "Noah you work so hard, I was being selfish." I sobbed.

We've been dating for 3 years it was our anniversary; Noah couldn't get out of a job he booked, and I just got really pissed off. I spent the day sulking and I just waited for him to get back, the filming dragged on though. I knew deep down how important the job is, I was being selfish. "I really missed you though" I muttered as I looked down at our intertwined hands. Noah took his hands away from mine and lifted my chin up, he wiped a tear away with his thumb and gazed into my eyes.

"I missed you too Y/N" he said, his voice broke slightly, and I suddenly felt bad. I pursed my lips together and sniffled slightly, Noah looked at me and pulled me close to him. He wrapped his arms around me and knelt his chin on my head, he started slowly moving. Soon enough we were slow dancing. He dipped me backwards and spun me around, my face lit up with a smile. He laughed as he clumsily tried to lift me up. I giggled too as I let the last few tears escape, he wiped them away and started jumping up and down. I copied his crazy moves until he stopped and tapped my nose, "look babe how about we celebrate now" he suggested. I nodded and took a deep breath in, "sounds good".

Time skip

We went to go get ice cream at 10 pm, even though it was late. We both decided to go crazy and get 3 scoops. We were walking along a street which was along the beach and was lit up by the hung-up fairy lights.  The waves crashed onto the sand, and the cold breeze pinched our faces. "I can't believe we got ice cream on a cold night" I laughed, Noah giggled and licked his ice cream. He must have gotten a brain freeze because he squeezed his eyes shut and squealed, I laughed at his expression and grabbed his hand.

Once we finished our ice creams we walked along the beach, we both took our shoes off and held them as we strolled along. The icy cold water splashed against our ankles, we both screeched but continued walking. Noah knelt down and cupped some water in his hand, he threw it at me. I shrieked and furrowed my eyebrows at him, he then ran away quickly. I chased after him and screamed "your dead" with a laugh. I caught up with him and threw my arms around him, "you've got me" he laughed.

"Can I have a piggyback" I asked with a giggle, Noah looked surprised and scratched his neck. We put down our shoes and I got onto his back. He wobbled slightly but then managed to start walking. "Okay ready!" He laughed, I nodded my head and looped my arms around his neck. Noah started jogging, I screeched and laughed but before I knew it, he was running. The wind fought against me as my hair blew in all directions, I screamed at the top of my lungs and heard Noah laugh. I began to lose balance, "Noah!" I screamed excitably; he came to a halt then helped me down.

"I wish I had my swimming costume" I said as I stared out at the water, Noah glanced at me and said, "why don't we just go in". I looked at him with a shocked expression, he licked his lips and laughed "the walk home isn't that long, our clothes will dry off". I considered it for a moment then threw my arms in the air and shouted, "why not!". Noah laughed and grabbed my hand; we ran into the water immediately. As soon as I felt the cold water hit my legs, I nearly stopped breathing, we continued anyway and went in deeper. I jumped up and down and squeezed my eyes shut whilst Noah kept wincing, "oh God!" he screamed. We looked at each other and laughed.  I wanted to stay in this moment forever, no matter how frozen I felt, I was happy.  Noah flicked some water my way, and I did the same to him. We both yelped out but continued splashing each other, a huge grin spread across Noah's face and my cheeks ached from smiling so hard.

I looped my arms around his neck and jumped up, swinging my legs around him. He spun us around; I smiled brightly and watched his deep hazel eyes soften when he saw my smile. He leaned in and kissed my lips softly, my breath hitched, but not from the cold water. I kissed him back eagerly, but Noah pulled away and said, "Y/n I think I'm going to get hyperthermia".  I laughed and bit down on my lip, he lifted me down and we ran out the water.

We walked home soaking and shivering; we laughed and giggled the whole way home as strangers stared at us.  We walked into our house and Noah immediately rushed to grab towels, we got ourselves dried and put some clean clothes on. Once we were warmed up, we huddled up on the sofa with a blanket around us both. "That was a terrible idea" I laughed, Noah shuffled closer to me and chuckled whilst nodding his head.

Our eyes caught in each other's gaze again, as if Noah read my mind, he joined our lips together once again. I kissed him back and felt my stomach flutter and my skin flare up. He pulled me closer to him by my waist and started kissing me passionately, I smiled and felt him smile into the kiss too. My heart rate quickened as I began to melt in his arms I played with his hair as we continued to kiss. "I'm sorry" Noah said in between kisses, I pulled away and shook my head, "no I'm sorry". He laughed and breathed in quickly before kissing me again, I couldn't help but grin again. He made me go crazy, I wanted to stay in this moment forever. We pulled away and took a couple of seconds to catch our breaths.

"Thanks for the best anniversary ever" I said with a grin, he smiled and said, "I love you". I blushed and whispered, "I love you too". For the rest of the evening, we cuddled and watched some rom coms but the feeling of butterflies never left my stomach.
