May 15th

"So, you gonna let me plan your wedding?" my little sister asks. "We're helping!" Riley says pointing to herself and Nat. "Well we still have to figure out everything but as soon as we do, you'll be the first to know." They gave me a two finger salut. "10-4 Lieutenant Mitchell-Bradshaw" Rikey says. Me and Bradley look at each other and laugh.

Eventually after talking to everyone, we walk inside to get a drink. Me, Bradley, and our teammates gather around the pool table for a round of 9 ball. "Y'all ready for me to kick Hangman's ass in 9 ball again?" I ask. "You cheated the last time." I give him the eyes like 'sure i did'.

It's me and Nat vs Bradley and Hangman. Them on a team together? I know. I couldn't believe bit either. "So Rebel. We haven't really learned much about you." Hangman says, hitting the white ball. "Well what do you wanna know, Seresin?"

"Who were you and Reaper with before this?" He asks. "At first we were with the Gladiators. But we've been with the Bounty Hunters since we left Top Gun. We just got papers to join the Vigilantes tho." I respond. "No shit?" He says and stops what he's doing. "That's my squadron." My eye got wide when he said that, making me look at Riley and she had the same look.

Bradley looked down, clenching his jaw. He didn't like the idea of me being with Hangman, and he also didn't wanna be so far away from me. "Are you gonna join us?" He asks smirking. "We haven't made a decision yet." Riley speaks up. "You guys got the kills to be an Ace. You could join me!" Phoenix says jumping on my back. We smile at her.

"Its hard knowing what to do because I wanna be closer to my parents and sister, but Im about to marry a man that's in Virginia. And I can't just think about me, I have to think about Reaper too. Her parents are from California too." I confess. "That's understandable." Hangman replies.

"Shots anybody?" I yell out. I walk up to my mom at the bar. "Ma'am, are you really working the night you're supposed to be celebrating your daughters engagement?" I joke around with my mom. She rolls her eyes. It's just us here so it's really not a big deal. "How about you do a round with us momma?" She debates it for a moment.

"Fine. Only because it's for you." she says. "You too daddy!" I yell over to my dad. "Oh I don't know about that." he says holding his hands up. "Cmon. It's just one. I'm getting married!!" He rolls his eyes and finally says yes. "Sorry Mel, maybe you can in a couple years." I say patting my 13 year old sister on the back and laughing.

"To the Bradshaws!" Phoenix yells at everyone holds up their shots. They are yell it back and click each others cups. Me and Bradley look at each other, "To us!" then we clink our glasses and take the shot.

We head back over around the pool table. Hangman, Rooster, Bob, and Payback are playing now. This time, Amelia is standing beside me with her head on my shoulder. I turn to look at her. "Follow me" I tell her holding out my hand for her to take.

I lead her out the back door or the bar and unto the beach. We walk down to the water, taking our shoes off once we get closer to the water. We're both wearing a shorter dress so we don't have to worry about getting our clothes wet.

I walk down the beach holding my little sisters hand. "Why'd you want me to come out here with you?" She asks looking at the water running across her feet. "I just wanted to spend some time with you. You've grown up so much since I was home." I say. "A lot can happen in 3 years." She replies. "So I wanted to ask you something, Mel."

She looks up at me. "You're not quite old enough to be my maid of honor because that's a lot of adult responsibility. So I was wondering if you'd be my bridesmaid." Her face lit up. "Maybe even like a junior maid of honor. So like you could still be the first bridesmaid in line beside me, you just wouldn't have to handle any of the decisions or anything like that."

"Of course I will!" She says jumping forward and hugging me. I look at seeing my mom looking at us, smiling. I smile back to her. We stay out and talk for a couple more minutes before Nat and Riley come running towards us. "Well hello to the rest of my bridal party. They smile.

Me, Phoenix, and Reaper are sitting at the bar with my mom while the boys play darts. "So Riley. Why don't you have a man?" My mom asks her. "I don't know honestly. Never took the time for one. Emma's enough to deal with. Let alone adding a man to it. " She says sighing. I hit her arm. "Hey!!" We all laugh, sipping our mixed drinks.

"I bet me and Emma could set you up with somebody." Nat says. "Who do you have in mind." Riley asks. Me and Phe smirk at each other. We don't say a word, we just walk over to the boys. Leaving her with my mom. We reach the boys and I step to Hangman and whisper in his ear. Rooster gives me a weird look but I wink at him.

I told Hangman that he should make a move on Riley. At least ask her on a date, or get to know her. He agrees pretty easily. So he walks back over to the bar with us and he sits beside Riley. I pat her on the shoulder. "Good luck." and wink at her. Then walk about over to Rooster.

"What was that?" He asks, putting his arm around me. "Oh just me playing match maker." he laughs. "You about ready to head out, soon to be Mrs. Bradshaw?" "Yes I am Mr. Bradshaw."

We tell our friends goodnight and I kiss my family goodbye. "Dont forget about the making me an aunt part." Amelia whispers to me as she hugs me. I shake my head and wink. We get in his Bronco and drive to his house.

"Can we stop by my house to get clothes first?" I ask him. He places his hand on my thigh. "I don't think you'll be needing those tonight." My eyes widen at his sudden bold attitude. "On really?" I ask biting my lip. He nods and smirks at me. "Then you better hurry and get home." He picks up his speed a little, still staying at the speed limit.

"So how are we doing this?" I ask him while I lay on his chest. "Maybe we should go to the courthouse tomorrow and legally get married, then after the mission we can have your dream wedding." he says playing with my hair. "My dream wedding huh?" I ask smirking. "Anything for you" he says winking and kissing me.

There was a few minutes of silence before I spoke up. "What if we wait a few weeks
before the wedding and go on a trip with everyone? Like right when we get back from the mission. So we can all have a break." I ask. "That's a pretty good idea." He says.

"We should ask your parents and Amelia to go too." He adds. I smile at him thinking about my family, then nod. "Well we have a tough day tomorrow, so we should probably go to sleep. I love you Bradley." I say kissing him. "I love you Em."
