Chapter 20

I woke up and Connie was asleep
I carefully got up and went to the bathroom then hopped in the shower
A few minutes later I heard the door open
"I'm just taking my makeup off" Connie said through the curtain
"Oh ok" I say putting shampoo in my hair

I got out of the shower and went to my wardrobe

"What are you doing today?" Connie asked as I was putting my shirt on
"Um I don't know, maybe hangout with Charlie and Adam, or Shawn" I say turning to look at her
"Oh ok, do you wanna hangout later then?" She ask putting her arms around my neck
"You can come with us" I say giving her a kiss
"Ok" she says smiling

We grabbed are stuff and headed down to see the boys
"We also have to get are schedules" Connie says holding my hand
"Yeah, bet you it's all the same as everyone else" I say rolling my eyes

We get to the school building and everyone is there
"Hey" Connie says looking at everyone

We where waiting on line to get are schedules when Fiona burst through the door
"What's wrong" I ask letting go of Connie
"Where's Jj and Shawn?!" She says grabbing my shoulders
"Shawn's at practice and Jjs in his dorm I think?" I say looking at her
She didn't say anything and just dragged me down the hall
"Fiona, I have to get my schedule" I say pulling away from her
"I'll get it for you" Charlie says behind me
"Thanks" I say before chasing Fiona down the hallway

We get to the gym and both Shawn and Jj are there playing one on one
"Hey Fiona what's up" Shawn says walking towards us
"We need to go home right now, and I don't know if you guys will want to come back but it won't be for a couple weeks" she says looking at all of us
"What's going on Fee?" Jj said looking at her
"I'll tell you guys when you get home but right now you need to pack and I need to get home"
She says looking at all of us
"Cassie will give you guys a ride to the airport your flights tomorrow" she continues "I'm leaving today, I'm trusting you guys, you need to get Austin" she said flooding at me this time
"What's going on?!" Shawn asked getting a bit annoyed
"I already told you I'll tell you when you get home" she said before stopping out of the gym

I went back to the line to see everyone already done
"What's wrong" asked as we started walking
"I don't know, but I'm going home for a couple weeks" I say holding the door for her

We get to see dorm and I start packing all of my stuff
"Are you gonna come back" Connie says breaking the silence of the room
"I don't know, Fiona said we might not want to" I say turning around to see that she was crying
"But are you going to come back, not Shawn, not Jj, you" she says coming closer
"I don't know Connie" I say walking closer to her
She backs up
"Cause if not I'm not sure I'll be able to wait for you" she says tears streaming from her eyes
"So your breaking up with me?" I ask looking at her
"Yes, but I want us to still be friends" she says grabbing my hands
"Yeah maybe" I say looking at her

I finished packing my stuff and Connie was asleep so I decided to go fro a walk

I walked outside the building and it was a little cold
I turned a corner and saw Julie
"Hey lizzy" she said standing up
"Whats up Gaffney" I say looking at her
"So how are you and Connie" she say walking with me
She dumped me a couple hours ago cause I'm leaving and I don't know if I'm coming back this year, or ever" I say looking at her
"I'm sorry, look Elizabeth, I still love you, a lot and I just wanted to tell you before you leave and I know we could probably never happen again bu-" I cut her off my kissing her and she kissed back
It was a long kiss, sweet kiss really
I pulled away first
"Julie I love you to, but I did love Connie,
I could tell she was falling out of it a few months ago when she stopped calling" I say holding her hands
"Yeah, I was talking to her and she never spoke about you, I'm so sorry for everything I did, I really do love you" she said before kissing me again

I next morning I got up and Charlie helped me take my bags to his moms car

"Is that everything?" Cassie asked as I put my bag in the car
"Yeah" I say as Charlie shuts the trunk
"I'll miss you, make sure you come see me" Charlie said as we hugged
"I will, I'll call you when I find out what's happening" I say pulling away

I give everyone that was down there a hug
Fulton, Kenny, Dwayn,Avermen, Adam and dean
"Bye" Julie says before I hug her
"I'll miss you"
She said in my ear then kissing me on the cheek

Addie dropped us off at the airport and went through all of that stuff and shit
We got to are gate and at down
"What do you thinks going on" Jj asked looking at me and Shawn
"Maybe mom killed her new bf" I say jokingly
"Or herself" Shawn added to the joke
"That's not funny guys" Jj says snaking both of us on the head

We get on the plane and and I'm sitting in a row by myself
We get home and see Mrs Tanny and Keegan
"Kee!" I yell dropping my bag and hugging him
"What's up Lizzy" he says as we pull away
"Man, do you guys know what's going on?" Shawn asked looking at Mrs Tanny
"I'll leave it to Fiona" she says putting a hand on my shoulder "Keegan help them" she says before getting in the car
Me and my brothers all look at each other
"Mrs Tanny, is Austin already home?" I ask siting up front next to her
"Yeah we got him this morning" she said as we drove off

We get to the house and Keegan carry's one of my bags in
I open the door to see Austin crying at the table
I drop my stuff and run over to him
He didn't say anything but hug me
"Guys sit down" she says looking at us
I give Keegan a hug before he  leaves

I sit down next to Austin and Fiona starts talking
"Mom, she got released last night and didn't tell anyone" she started before taking a breath
"She went to the same place she always goes, Ricky's" she was saying before I interrupted
"The drug house?!" I say looking at her
"Yes, she took some pretty serious drugs and was in the hospital yesterday" she was saying before Jj interrupted
"But she's fine now right?" He said, you could here the hope in his voice
I knew exactly where this was going
"They had rushed her into the ER and where giving her all kinds of medicine and she was on a bunch of Machines, she didn't make it" she said looking at all of us
JJ storms off with tears flowing down his face and Shawn just sits there
I busted into tears and was pretty much hysterical
"No, no.no! You lying" I stand up and yell before Austin gets up and hugs me and I just break down

A couple hours later I'm sitting by the table on the floor still crying before Fiona comes in
"Why  are you crying, she did this because she didn't care about us, she killed herself because she only thought about herself, she was never there" she says bending down
"You a heartless bitch Fiona" I say getting up and pushing past her

I walk into my room and slid down the door
Busting into tears again

I sat there for awhile before is decided to call Charlie

"Hello"
"Hey Charlie it's me, Liz um" I say taking a deep breath
"Hey Liz what's up" he said
"Charlie my mom killed herself" I say busting into tears and putting the phone down in my lap
There was still silence on the other side of the phone
I hung it up

I layed down in bed and eventually I cried myself to sleep
