Chapter 4

As coach was talking I glanced up at the stands and to my surprise my dad was there and so was his wife
But they weren't looking at me or my brother they where looking at something else but I don't know what

Coach started to introduce us to each other
"This is Elizabeth Cameron she is the best defense player I have ever seen especially when she's with her brother JJ" he says pointing at us
He introduced us all
"This is Dean Portman he's from Chicago"
"The we have Luis Mendoza he from Miami"
"And last but not least we have Julie the cat Gaffney"
*gay panic* this women is so hot

We continue practice then we head to the locker room
" so you saw dad right" JJ ask in my ear
"JJ, dude can this wait till I have my fucking shirt on?" I ask looking at him
"I don't care just hurry" he says walking away
I finish putting my gear away and tying my shoes when someone sits beside me
"Hey Liz" Charlie says to my left
" oh hey Charlie what are doing" I ask putting my bag on my shoulder
"I was gonna walk you out" he says picking up his bag
We started walking out when Adam caught up with us
"What are you guys doing" he ask putting an arm around Charlie
"Walking" he says looking at him
"I gotta go" I say waving at them

I walk up to JJ who is waiting with Alex and Keegan
"Moms already talking to him" JJ says and I turn to look and to see her and Casey talking then I see Charlie walk up to them??
"What's Charlie doing over there" Keegan ask in my ear
" I don't know but let's find out" I say as I start walking and that's when they see all of us
"Oh hey guys, look who it is"
My mom says putting an arm around JJ
"Hey dad what's up" he says doing there hand shake
"Nothing sorry I haven't called I've been busy running the ice palace on Main Street" he says
For four years ok then
"Hey sweet heart how are you" he says giving me a hug which I don't return
"Keegan,Alex how are you guys" he asked them
"Fine" Keegan says nodding his head
"I've been good sir" Alex says shacking his hand
"Guys this is my wife Casey and my step son Charlie" he says pointing at each of them
Me and the boys all look at each other

As we are headed out of the building Keegan puts his arm around me as we walk
"So that was weird" Alex says looking at me
"Yeha it was" I say pushing the door open
"Hey guys" we hear from behind us,
We all turn around and see Charlie
"Hey Charlie" Keegan says turning us both around
"Are you all coming to the family dinner Tara planned?" He said looking at me
"Yeah we are" Alex reply's
"We just need to change and shower" I say
"Ok I'll see you guys later" he says walking away

We get to the hotel we head to the room and shower and get changed into more fancy but not fancy clothes

And the boys put on there nice clothes

We lock up the room and head to the lobby and see all the ducks, my dad and his wife and off course Charlie
"I thought it was just us" I whisper to Keegan
"Yeha I thought that to" he whispered back
"Hey guys" my mom says looking at us then her gaze moved to Keegan and my hands that where interlocked
"Hey Liz" Connie says walking next to me "this is Julie" she says pointing at her as she waves
"Are you and him dating" Connie whispered to where only me and Julie can hear
"Oh me and him aren't dating, where best friends" I say squeezing Keegan's hand causing him to turn his attention to us making the girls giggle

We get to the restaurant
I sit next to Keegan and Julie with Connie next to her and Charlie and my dad across from me

"Are you dating anyone" I hear from across the table it was my dad
Everyone turned to look are way
"None of your business " is all I managed to say before I got up and walked out causing little whispers throughout the table and restaurant.
As I walk out the exit I hear two chairs slide out and feet walking behind me.

I start walking down the street towards wherever I'll end up when I hear my name being shouted behind me, I don't turn around I turn down an ally way where some man was digging in the trash
"Excuse me ma'am do you have a cigarettes some cash" he says looking up from the dumpster
"Naw man I'm sorry if i did I'd give it to ya" I say stopping
"Ok thank you" he says smiling at
I flash him a smile when I hear my name again so I start walking faster.

I come up on a lake with a cement path for walking and decide to walk it.

I was walking around looking at the sunset when someone grabbed my arm
I wipe around and see Charlie and Julie not far behind him
"Dude let go!" I say yanking my arm from his grasp
"You need to come back to the dinner your mom is freaking out" Julie says coming over to us
"Naw man I'm going back to the hotel you guys go back" I say crossing the street

•Charlie's POV•
Me and Julie get back to the restaurant to see everyone talking and Tara lizs mom talking to my step dad Jesse and my mom
"Did you find her" Tara says running up to me
"Yeah but she said she was going back to the hotel" I say looking at her
"We caught up to her by the park" Julie says looking at her
"Well I guess we shouldn't worry then" Jesse said clapping his hands and walking away from my mom
"She'll be fine" Joey said to her as we all sat back down and ate

I walked in the hotel doors and walked into the elevator and pushed the button.
The elevator opened on my floor and I headed to the room
I reached the door and unlocked it and laid on the bed

About 20 minutes later I decided to get in the shower
I dug through my two huge suit cases and grabbed out some clothes and went to take a shower

When I was brushing my hair I heard the door open
"Lizzy Boo bear  you in hear" I hear Keegan say
"Shut up" I say I walk out the bathroom and lay down
All the boys where down showering and we where all laying in bed watching Wayne's world
"Come here" Keegan said sitting up and wrapping me in a hug
"You should talk to your mom" he says pulling us to where we where laying down
"In the morning"
