Liz (Lizzy Elizabeth) Cameron and her brother JJ have been invited to play for Gordon Bombay and his ducks on team USA but while she's there she will fall for someone nobody expected
I was sitting upstairs reading a book when suddenly my name was called "Lizzy get down here!" My mom yells I get up and run down the stairs and walk into the kitchen "What's up" I ask leaning against the counter "You and JJ got mail" she says pointing at the pile of mail on the counter. One thing about my mom is she's a huge hippie like she grows her own weed (let's pretend it Legal in the 90s). I open the letter and read it "Dear Elizabeth Cameron I am writing this letter to inform you that we at Hedrick hockey would like you and your brother to come from Seattle and join us in LA the Junior GoodWill games along side with the mighty ducks and more people your age. Your coach we be observing your game in the 11 and you will meet them then. Dawn Tibbles" "Well what is it?" My mom ask "Me and JJ have been invited to play for team USA's junior hockey team" I say handing her the letter "They'll be at your game tomorrow " she's says "by the way do you want a ride?" She says putting the letter down "No I'm gonna skate down there " I say tapping the counter with my fingers.
The next morning I woke up and got dressed into a white Def Leppard tee, baggy blue jeans and some white socks And black and white converse but I don't put them on

And headed down stair "Mom have you seen my bandanna?" I ask walking down the stairs "On the washer" she says I walk into the garage and see my bandanna and put it on

(You where it like Fulton) I grab my flannel off the coat rack and tye it around my waist. "Bye mom love you" I say running out the door skates and gear bag in hand. I sit on the step and put on my skates and grabbed my bag then me and JJ skates off.
We arrive at the stadium and skate inside the stands are full and we skate past them into the locker room. I sit on the bench and put my gear on
"You guys ready" coach Stinfeild said waking in clapping her hands "YEAH" we all yell in sink with each other "Let's go cats" she yells as we leave and head to the ice.
We are now into the 2nd quarter into the game and we are winning by 4
"Man the other team doesn't stand a chance against them" Charlie says looking at Bombay "Yeah but where only taking 4 of them to play on are team" he says "Who?" Charlie asks looking at the game going on in-front of him "The girl " he says pointing at the ice "Number 18 her names Elizabeth Cameron, her older brother JJ number 45 right there" he says pointing at the penalty box where JJ was standing and screaming "and 17 and 19 and the Tanny brothers Keegan and Alex" "Is there only one girl?" Adam asks Interrupting there conversation "Yeah number 18" Charlie says to Adam pointing down at me now in the penalty box "The guy in the box next to her is her brother JJ there both gonna be on the team this year along with 17 and 19 there brothers" Charlie says pointing at Alex at the other teams net and Keegan on defense. "Have you seen there goalie?" Goldberg asks interrupting them "Yeah he's really good" Adam says looking down at are goalie "Not as good as me" Goldberg says looking down at the ice.
We won 7-1 " killer cats win!" The announcer said
We get off the ice and head to the locker room "Did you see the dweebs in the stands" max said "Yeah I heard they choose 4 of us to be on there team" Andy said I turn to look at JJ we share a look "Wait really, what wannabes are being picked" Ben asks "I don't know but it would suck if we lost some team mates, plus we should be supporting them instead of bringing them down" Andrew says " he's right, we should be supporting are team members because this is a big thing" coach Stinfield said walking in with her clip board " ok when I call your name grab your stuff and head to the ice, the rest of you leave" she says looking at the list "17 Tanny " "19 Tanny" "45 Cameron and 18 Cameron, the rest of you guys get home and good job today guys" she says waking out "Well Cameron's you've made it to the big leagues" Andrew says patting me and JJ on the back.
We are standing waiting for coach Bombay and his team to show up. We stand there in are regular clothes and and skates and wait. I begin skating around due to the boredom. "Are they even coming" Keegan asks as he watches me skate in circles around him " I don't ke I really don't know" I say stopping "Sorry to keep you guys waiting" We turn and see the one and only Gordon Bombay
