I was putting my rings on when I remembered the photo of me and Julie I grabbed it and put it in my pocket Then Jj walked in "Need help with anything?" He ask looking at all of us "No but thank you" Julie and Connie say walking out "You?" He says grabbing my blanket "Where's your stuff" I say grabbing my backpack, gear and suitcase "In the car" he says opening the door
Once everything was in the car we went over to bus that the ducks where on and gave them each a hug, then I got to Julie "Here's my number of, you know um" I say giving her the paper "Yeah, here's mine" she says handing it to me We hug and she gives me a kiss on the cheek then they leave for the airport
I was helping my mom with something then "What's this" Shawn says pulling the photo out of my pocket "Give it to me" I say turning around "Who's this" he says holding it up high so I couldn't reach it JJ snatched it out of his hands and handed to me "Cmon man" Jj says walking over to his seat in the car
We all get in the car then make are way to the airport
Once we get everything situated we take a seat away from everyone at are gate
"So who was that in the photo" Shawn ask whispering in my ear "No one" I say turning to him "Yeah right" he says getting up That annoying ass fucker
We got on the plane and I was sitting with Alex when I realized Joey wasn't there "Have you seen Joey like at all?" I ask Alex who was talking to Jj across the ile "No..?" He says looking at Jj "I haven't seen him since are first game" Jj says looking at are mom "Mom where's Joey" he asks as she looks down "I'll tell you when we get home" she says looking at her book
We landed and went to are car and drove Keegan and Alex home
We got home and took all are stuff "Where's the photos with Joey" I say turning around "Go put your stuff away first" she says walking into her room
I go upstairs into my room and unpack for a while clothes, shoes, pictures etc
I go downstairs to see my brothers and mom sitting at are dining room table "Sit down Elizabeth" my mom says So I sit "Me and Joey got in a very big argument over some things and we went together anymore" she says wiping her tear off her face "What?" I ask looking at her tears at the brims of my eyes "I'm sorry, he's not gonna be living here and I don't think he will participate in school stuff or come to games anymore, I'm sorry" she says getting up "You can't just break up, you have to fix this" I say following her while the tears start to fall form my eyes "I'm sorry Elizabeth but there's no fixing this" she says shutting herself in her room Jj storms off into his room and I just break down I feel arms wrap around me "Hey, it's gonna be ok" Shawn says walking me to the coach
I sit with Shawn for an hour then realized Jj was still up stairs I got up and went to his door and knocked "Jj it's me Shawn and Liz" Shawn says standing next to me There's no response We open the door and the rooms empty but the windows open "He's gone" Shawn says looking out the window "He'll be back" I say walking out into my room
I was going through all of my photos with Joey which only made the situation harder to deal with I looked at the time and saw it was 10:00 and went to see if Jj was home yet I went to open his door and it was locked so my guess is that he is
I walked past Shawn's room and he was doing something idk what it was but I went downstairs I looked for my mom but couldn't find her I caught a glimpse of the back yard, she was out there In front of it burning the photos of us and Joey "What are you doing?!" I ask walking outside "What needs to be done" she says walking past me into the house I put out the fire and sit on the porch and stare at it "Fuck!" I yelled as I knocked the flower pot over In anger
I walk back in to the house and my mom ran into her room, I see the medicine cabinet left wide open I run to my moms door and start banning on it "MOM OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR" I scream as Shawn and Jj coming running down the stairs "What's going on?!" Jj ask grabbing me by the shoulder "She has some kind of pills-" with a thud I was interrupted "MOM" I screamed and Jj tried to bust the door down "Move" Shawn said as he kicked it down We all rushed In to see her passed out on the ground JJ covered my eyes as Shawn ran to the phone to call an ambulance "Is she still alive" I asked as Jj bent down next to her "Yeah, SHAWN HURRY!" He yelled
A few minutes later the ambulance arrived and took her to the hospital "Do you have any other adults, a dad maybe?" Driver asked "Uh yeah I'll call him" I say as him and Jj get in the ambulance
Me and Shawn went back inside I sat on the floor in the kitchen by the phone and called my dad, it was around midnight so I didn't think anyone would answer "Hello?" He asked, I took a shaky breath "Mo-mom tried to kill her self" I say busting into tears "Is she dead?" He asked "No but they don't know if she's gonna make it, she took my anxiety meds" I say standing up to see what's missing "Has she been taking her antidepressants?" He ask as movement is heard in his side of the line I check the bottle to see days of them still there "No, her and Joey just broke up and-" then he hung up the phone "Stupid bitch" I say slamming the phone back on its hook I walk into her room to grab my pills to see she took the hole rest of the bottle about 13 of them "Oh my god" I say putting the bottle in my pocket "Where gonna have to wait to get a ride from Mrs Tanny tomorrow to got see her" Shawn says walking in "what did she take?" "My meds, the rest of them I need to get them filled" I say walking out the room "We will do that, just get some rest" he says walking past me upstairs
I got upstairs and get ready for bed then fall asleep
