Liz (Lizzy Elizabeth) Cameron and her brother JJ have been invited to play for Gordon Bombay and his ducks on team USA but while she's there she will fall for someone nobody expected
"Where is Jj" I say getting up "In the kitchen" he says pointing gain not looking up from the color page he was doing "Later Alex" I say walking away "I love you baby sister" he yells "Whatever love you to" I say rolling my eyes and sitting next to Jj who had his head down "What wrong?" I ask putting my hand on his shoulder "Dad has t come to any of are games like he said he would" he says as I scoot the stool closer to him "I told you not to get your hopes up" I say hugging him " he does this every time Jj, you get so excited but then he doesn't show up and you get your hopes up every time" I say brushing his hair out of his face "I know" he says sighing "Hey that's ok maybe he will be here Tuesday" I say getting down to his level "I'm not always right " I say making him laugh "That's a first" he says sitting up laughing "Why does Alex have a color page" I ask looking at him across the room "He was being loud" he says laughing "I'm gonna go to bed" he says getting up "Alex grab your stuff where going up stairs" Jj says walking up the stairs "WAIT, I'm coming" Alex yells as he runs past me
I go upstairs and into my dorm and Julie and Connie are talking on her bed and giggling
Julie came and sat on bed and looked at me "Connie helped me earlier, you know at the beach"she says getting up and going to her closet and grabbing pjs so I get up and do the same
And hour or two later I'm sitting in my bed reading the book for miss McKay when weight is at down on the side of my bed I look up from the book and see Julie "Hi" she says looking at me I scoot over and she lays down and I put my arm around her. A few minutes later she lays right on top of me wrapping her arms around my waist I put my book down and play with her hair "Do you think that we will beat Iceland" she says looking up to me "Maybe, but all we have to do is try. But if that doesn't work we can just hit them in the leg with a stick" I say shrugging and her giggling "I think we would get disqualified if we do that" she says laying back down "Probably" I say

After putting on my shoes I walk out the door and down the stairs
"You got mail" Jesse said handing me a letter I open it and read it (I'm not going it use your imagination 😤) "Where's Jj" I ask Jesse as he pints to the table "Jj mom and Shawn are coming to the game tomorrow" I say sitting down next to Julie "Who's Shawn?" She ask "Are holder half brother" Jj says then continues to talk to Alex "He's from one of her old bfs, it's complicated, he lived with us for a while before and after mine a Jjs parents split" I say folding the letter and putting it in my pocket "Did she say anything about Dad" Jj asks "No" I say giving in a sympathetic look "No surprise" Keegan says sitting across from me "What does Shawn look like?" Connie ask "Ugly" Jj says "Greasy" Alex adds "Like a dirty shoe" keegan says crossing his arms "Really?" She ask not believing them "Eh kinda he's just a duche" I say shrugging "What does he actually look like, do you have a photo?" She asked as she looked at us four "No, but he should be here tomorrow and when we fly home the day after" I say staring at her

We all waited for Bombay but he never came
"If you don't have a coach then Iceland wins" the ref says talking to me "Charlie! Get miss McKay" Miss McKay comes down and is are coach she puts me, Fulton, dean, Julie, Adam and Avermen
As we are about to start Bombay comes running down to the team and is talking to them I get back in the game and the puck is dropped Making Iceland go towards are goelie But Avermen gets it for them and starts his way down the blue line I'm next to some guy and I shove him then the red blows his whistle "Cameron out for the rest of the game" He says guiding me away "What! That was totally a dive man" I say getting off the ice
I go to the locker room and change in to my jeans and t-shirt with my jersey over it
