The days that follow

I don't really want to move or talk, I feel so listed and unhappy. I remember seeing a river full of blood and dead bodies. Those people died because of me and it's unfair. I can't give them their lives back because they never did show up in my realm. I continue staring at the ceiling before I hear my door open and light footsteps walk over. "Darling.. how are you feeling?" Dawn says as she sits next to me. I don't answer. "Are you hungry?" Still I don't answer, she puts her hand on my forehead, and I stare at her. "I think you might have a fever.. I'll go get you some medicine. She leaves and I continue to stare at the ceiling. My stomach rumbles as I'm very hungry but I choose to ignore it ... several minutes pass and I hear someone walk into my room. I smell yummy food and my stomach growls... "Hel you haven't eaten in 2 days you need to eat..." I sit up and look at Dawn, she smiles and sets the plate down next to me, I want to dive in but she stops me from doing so.. "Will you take your medicine first?" Again I don't answer and just stare, she pours liguid medicine in a small measuring cup and hands it to me. I hesitate but take it.. I feel horrid. I quickly down it and make a weird face as it tastes nasty, she quickly hands me water and I take a few sips. "Are you going to eat?" I stare at the plate of food, it must be noon because there is grilled cheese, green beans and mashed potatoes, I smile and pick up the grilled cheese and eat it. I know it just isn't plain grille cheese, she must have slipped more meds in the food so I can remain healthy buy either way it was still yummy. Dawn smiled and was happy, as was I. I quickly ate the mashed potatoes and green beans.. it felt good to finally eat a full meal since I have come back. I take a few sips of my water. Dawn opens my blinds and the sunlight pours in,it's incredibly bright so I have to look away. It reminded me of all the villages that were burned... I have so much to do but yet I sit here and do nothing.... I have to finish fixing what I have done, it may require some help but that's ok. I hide under the covers and Dawn walks over and uncovers me and hugs me "I can hear your thoughts honey.." Dawn says with a smile. I had totally forgot that she could do that. I wonder if she was blocked out when that dark energy took over ? "I will help you fix things, just tell me what you need me to do and I will help.." I pause for a moment then after a few long minutes I respond "Help me heal.."
