"I say we play one of these," Hadley chimed in. They held up three different boxes of card games all of which seemed to have different age recommendations on each box.

Grace was the one in charge of the insanity, at least that's what Max told Bexon when he told the dark-haired man they were invited to game night and possibly a movie as well. What Max didn't tell his boyfriend was that Max mentioned to Grace when she came into Latte's that he had game nights with his family when he lived with his dad.

Either way, Max dragged Bexon along with Hadley and their girlfriend Mya. The night started out simple enough, playing a few board games and moving on to card games, all the while no one being able to pick a movie for the night.

Bexon had won most of the board games, more out of spite than anything else. It really just depended on whose team he was on. Max quickly realized just how terrifying it was to see him and Mya play anything spelling related.

Both of them were competitive, to say the least. Max was thankful they were at least on the same team for the first two rounds, then when they moved on they learned the hard way just how competitive they really were.

A chair was broken in the process of a card game. Max was pretty sure it was his fault since no one could tell him the actual rules or give him time to look them up before his team started.

However, at this point, a random movie was playing in the background, most everyone was either drunk or tipsy, other than Bexon, Lucas, and Mya who didn't drink. Max on the other hand had one drink feeling like it was a lot stronger than he had first thought, then again Erin was the one who made it. The fruity taste of watermelon was nice as long as Max remembered to sip at it unless he wanted Bexon carrying him.

Though drunk him apparently had a better game than he thought, after all, he did get Bexon to take him back home with him the last time.

Max took his seat again, getting up to get a cup of water so he could at least stay hydrated. Everyone was sitting around the coffee table or on the furniture around the living room. Everyone who was playing the game was on the floor, the ones sitting it out were on the couch or chairs set up in the living room. Bexon, Mya, and Grace were on the couch behind Max.

Luca opened the small box Hadley had thrown at him. He looked over the instructions for no more than a minute before throwing them off to the side.

"Luca!" Hadley yelled.

"Hads it's fine, we are playing this the Luca way," he exclaimed.

Everyone tried to voice their worry about playing it the 'Luca way' but he ignored them and pressed on with explaining the rules of how he would play the game. Luckily no one seemed to care once they knew it did not involve fire like most things did when playing the 'Luca way' so it was safe this time.

"Okay, I am just going to be the employer for this round and you people have to come up with a reason why I should hire you for whatever the job is going to be. In basic terms, I pick a random job card and you all have four qualification cards that you have to work into your interview."

Once Luca was done explaining what the rules were he handed out the cards and flipped over the job card. Putting his hands together professionally on the coffee table, he straightened up his posture and did his best to look business-like.

"Who's here for the architect job?" Luca asked once he looked at the job card.

Max watched as everyone seemed to stop what they were doing to look over at Mya—who had practically been an architect since she was twelve apparently. She waved off the attention and everyone turned back to what they were doing.
