Time will tell on you
as skin shrivels off the bone.
It will claw away what's left,
find what in its marrow grown.
Time will see what you've done to me
and she will tell them all.
The hollow of my supple body
will echo in each crevice of yours.
For my chest did not rise
only to sink down in vain.
Time will use my disdain.
Critters crawl to your head,
nibble the sweet 'sane'
till critters are all that's left.
And as earth withers my flesh,
Time will send her serpents your way.
With every slither of a tail,
each whimper of my name.
You'll sink further down your grave.
As I lie in darker soil,
Time will crack my gilded tomb.
What once festered below
shall birth a bleeding bloom.
