EPILOGUE

After 8 years....

Lia's POV

"de Luca, Amelia Everleigh Hermiogne Ferrocci, Magna Cum Laude"

I went to the stage with Mommy and Daddy to accept my Magna Cum Laude medal and dis a curtsy to everyone.

Yes, Jai and I really got married after college, before I go to Law School. Ang course kasi na kinuha ni Jai is Aviation kasi gusto nya rin maging piloto like Tito Warren.

"Mommy!"

I am welcomed by the warmest hug from our baby boy, Axcel Jermaine Ferrocci-de Luca. Our 4 year old son.

"I'm so proud of my sperm"

That's what he said when I told him that I was pregnant after 2 months of getting married.

"Baby! Are you proud of Mommy?" I asked nang buhatin ko sya

"Super proud. Estoy tan orgulloso de ti, mamá"

"Gracias, bebe" I said and hugged him

"How about the daddy? Walang hug?" Tanong ni Jai.

"Shouldn't you be the one hugging me and congratulating me?"

"Sabi ko nga" sabi nya at niyakap kaming mag-ina.

"I love you and Mommy so much, our Prince" he said and kissed our heads.

Jai and I are entitled Duke and Duchess of Spain, since hindi pa naman nagreretire sila Mommy.

"Daddy, ipit Axcel"

Yes, our son is multilingual, since ganun kami ni Jai, we want him to be like that too, para maintindihan nya kami.

"Oh, sorry, baby boy" he said at kinuha sa akin si Axcel.

"We will ride planes again?"

"Huh? Why would we ride a plane?"

"Because Mommy finished school already and Daddy said we will go on vacation" he said.

"Ayan, dyan ka magaling, puro vacation" sabi ni Daddy.

"Daddy promised Axcel we will go on vacation once Mommy finished school"

"That was 3 months ago, anak, you still remember it" takang tanong ni Jai.

He looks like his dad very much, para silang pinagbiyak. Nakuha lang sakin is buhok at yung attitude nya at hilig sa pagnguso.

"Ano pa aasahan kung mana sa nanay na nakakatanda ng mga pangako" sabi ni Tita Josefina

"Ok, we'll go on vacatiom, everywhere you want"

"And your flights?"

"I'm not the only pilot in Spain, we're hundreds. Hindi ako kawalan"

"Babe"

"I'm serious. I just want to give you the best. Tsaka celebration narin because you and Naiah finished Law School and lawyers already since pasado kayo sa bar exam, you two are top 1 and 2"

Literal na nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi nya

"Totoo?! Pasado ako sa exam?"

"You topped the bar, Mi amor" he said and showed me his phone.

My tears started pooling in my eyes when I saw my name on the Top 1 passer.

"Beshy" Tawag ni Naiah sa akin habang hawak yung phone nya

"We're lawyers!" We both said happily and hugged each other.

Di ko mapigilang di mapaupo sa pag-iyak dahil sa sobrang saya.

My gosh! Di ko akalain na papasa ako!

A dream I started with my bestfriend is now for real. We'll be Attorney Lia and Attorney Naiah.

Ang sarap sa feeling! Our dream we started together, we finally achieved it together too.

"I'm a lawyer!" I said happily.

"Mommy, don't cry. Axcel is happy" Axcel said and wipes my tears. Ibinaba na pala sya ng tatay nya.

"Mommy is so happy, baby. Mommy is already a lawyer, I'm so happy" I said and hugged him

"I'm so so proud of you, Mi amor. You deserve that, I witnessed kung paano mo itinawid ang Law School while being a hands-on wife and mother to me and Axcel. You're really the best, and you deserve everything you have achieved now." Jai said and kissed the top of my head. "My Duchess is such a great woman, and I'm such a lucky Duke to have you as my wife"

"Mommy, Axcel is a lucky prince because you are my Mommy"

Niyakap nila ako pareho habang umiiyak parin alo.

Noon pinapangarap ko lang na magkaroon ng anak, kasi mahilig talaga ako sa bata. Pero ngayon may super gwapo at super appreciative na anak ako, plus my oh so great husband.

Axcel mostly grew up with his Abuelas and Abuelos, lalo kapag may flight si Jai at wala akong kasama mag-alaga, but, he grew up so close to us. Mas gusto nya sa amin sumasama kesa sa nakalakihan nya, and he's such a great kid.

Minsan nga nababalitaan namin sa butler nya na pati teachers sa school na pinapasukan nya is nagkakacrush sa kanya, kasi nga kamukhang kamukha sya ni Jai. Jai is a hearthrob here in Spain, sinasabi pa daw nila is kung di makukuha yung tatay, hihintayin nalang daw yung anak. Kaya natatawa kami ni Jai.

I am contented now, wala na akong mahihiling pa, yung mga pangarap ko noon at dinadasal ko lang, sobra sobra pa yung ibinigay noon

"I love you so much, Mommy and Daddy" Axcel said and hugged us and kissed our cheeks

My heart is overflowing with happiness at the scene in front of my eyes right now, and I can say, this is the happiest I ever be in my entire living life. Having a family that supports me, a husband that loves me unconditionally, and a very amazing baby boy. I'm whole already, and I can't ask for more.
