robin x reader - halloween dance

A/n: i know it's not halloween yet but i just wanted to do this story lol

Third person pov:

it was October 30th, the day before halloween you sighed and closed your locker to see your best friend, finney "hey y/n! you've heard about the halloween dance right?" "of course i have, people have been talking about so much i don't think it's that a big of a deal." "you're just salty cause you didn't find anyone to go with hah" finney laughed "what? i thought you didn't have a date either?" Y/n gave finney a confused look. "i asked donna yesterday remember? i told you" "oh right.."

"you were just too busy thinking about robin~~" finney teased "someone said my name?" robin said walking up to Y/n and finney "oh hey robin we were just talking about how Y/n—" "how i just picked out my halloween costume! right finney.." Y/n gave finney a death stare "um yeah.." finney said frightened by her stare "oh really? what are you gonna be Y/n?" "that's a surprise! um anyways we should get going to class now haha..." Y/n awkwardly laughed trying to change the subject "yeah we should, see you at lunch robin" "cya finn, bye Y/n!" robin then left to his class "so when do you plan on asking him to the dance you only have today you know right?" finney gave Y/n a concerned look "you guys really would be cute together." "yeah i know finney but i don't think he likes me!" Y/n says with a devastated look "trust me y/n he likes you back. i just know it" he said "well i gotta go, see you Y/n." "bye.."

At lunch...

Y/n pov:

I walked into the cafeteria and saw gwen motioning me to sit down at their table. Finney, Gwen, and robin were sitting there already so i sat next to gwen. "hey y/n what took ya so long?" robin asked me "oh sorry i just had reading and my teacher wanted me to stay back and help her" "ah okay cool" he said and went back to eating his sandwich. "so y/n have you gotten a date for the halloween dance? i wish i can go with you guys!" i nearly choked on my milk when gwen asked "u-um" i felt everyone at the table staring at me finney gave me a look while robin and gwen looked at me with curious eyes "no. i haven't.." i said looking to the side "well at least i know i'm not the only one without a date" robin laughed, his laugh was cute. "you guys should go together! but like not as friends." gwen smirked. i felt my cheeks heat up so i looked down and when i looked back up there i saw robin staring at me but he quickly looked away. the rest of lunch was awkward every time someone said something we just looked at them and didn't say anything back. when lunch was finally over i went to my next class. which was with robin of course..

In class...

Robin's pov:

i was a little embarrassed about what gwen said at lunch but that was over so i just had to focus on the present. i was walking over to class, i was the first person there since i can't be late anymore or else i'll get suspended and my parents will kill me if that happens. i sat in my seat the teacher greeted me hello i said hey back then i waited for at least 30 seconds then Y/n walked in. she looked so pretty today her beautiful h/c hair flowed so elegantly. i snapped out of it and she sat in front of me so i tapped her on her shoulder. "hey, i hope what gwen said at lunch didn't make you uncomfortable.." "oh no it's fine! just a little embarrassing hahaha" her laugh is adorable. "oh okay cool" i played it off. i was actually thinking about asking Y/n out to the dance but now that gwen said that i think my chances are over.

After school...

Still in robin's pov:

i grabbed my things and left i headed out the exit and there was Y/n. i'm debating on still asking her, i was about to give up and just leave until finney came up behind me and said "so do you think about asking her out?" "oh hey finn. i don't know anymore what if she gets creeped out?" "trust me robin, she really wants you to ask her out. i swear" finney said looking at me in my eyes finney never makes eye contact so that's how i know he was being serious. "okay i'll do it." i started walking up to Y/n, she was with gwen i called their names and they stopped. "oh hey robin! we were just talking about you!" gwen said with a smile Y/n looked embarrassed "oh yeah? gwen i don't mean to interrupt you and Y/n's conversation but can me and Y/n talk? like alone. please?"

Gwen's pov:

Robin asked me to leave so he can talk with Y/n alone. i wonder what he was gonna say i really hope he asks her out, i'm tired of hearing Y/n whine about being single and how robin can never like her when it's pretty obvious they both like each other. they both look at each other in a loving way. i told robin yeah i'll leave and that i'll walk home with finney home so i really hope Y/n tells me all the details all over the phone tonight.

Y/n's pov:

"Hey Y/n about what you said at lunch saying you don't have a date, i was wondering if you wanted to be my date to the dance?" holy crap. robin just asked me to the dance?! "of course i would love to go with you!- i mean yeah sure." he smiled and said "okay then see you tomorrow night!" but before he left i grabbed his wrist "yes hermosa?" that caught me off guard. "i was gonna ask what are you dressing up as?" "well you didn't tell me what you're wearing so why should i tell you?" he said with a wink "hah fair enough see you tomorrow robin!" "bye love be safe, okay?" "mhm!" i walked home and when i got there i couldn't stop thinking about robin.

*time skip to the night of the dance cuz i don't feel like doing another school day 💀*

i called gwen to come over to my house and help me with my costume. i decided to dress up as a bloody cheerleader, (or whatever costume you want) i did my makeup gwen helped me with my hair and accessories and i was on my way i said goodbye to gwen and went with my bike.

When i arrived at the school i parked my bike, and i walked in with my tennis shoes that came with the costume and there i saw robin, dressed as a zombie. he was looking around for me until we made eye contact i smiled at him and he smiled back i walked over to him "hey y/n you look stunning" i blushed "thank you robin you also look very handsome" he gave me a cheeky smile. i saw finney and i waved at him, he waved back and i saw who he was with, his crush! her name was donna and she's very pretty and nice i'm glad he got the courage to ask her to the dance. i put my focus back onto robin we stared at each other's eyes, then the dj started to play a slow song.

"may i?" he asks reaching his hand out. i smiled and took his hand and we went into the dance floor.

he put his hands on my waist pulling me closer to him. my cheeks flushed pink and he started dancing. "do you know how to dance to this song?" he laughed seeing that you were struggling "not really.." "here i'll teach you, my mom taught me how to dance just keep your eyes on me okay?" "o-okay.." i stammered.

i started to get the hang of it and i slowly put my hands around his neck. he then placed his forehead onto mine gently and looked at me in my eyes and said "i love you, Y/n" and he leaned in for a gentle but passionate kiss.
