Third person pov:

Y/n was with her best friend Evelyn. (random girl name lol) she was very popular, everyone at school knew her and envied her life. since she was popular she would always attend the baseball games that were held after school, and since y/n is her best friend she would drag her there all the time.

Y/n was enjoying the game so far until bruce yamada appeared, the crowd went crazy over him and y/n noticed Evelyn screaming her lungs out for him. she gave her a weird look but returned to watching the game.

Y/n's pov:

after a few minutes, bruce won against finney blake, i started cheering for bruce's team until he saw me i stopped cheering then he smiled at me. evelyn noticed turned to me and started shaking me by my shoulders "OH MY GOSH Y/N HE SMILED AT YOU. THE BRUCE YAMADA SMILED AT YOU!" she started screaming in my face "holy crap, evelyn what's the big deal? all he did was smile" "BRUCE NEVER NOTICES HIS FANS, HE SO HAS A THING FOR YOU! DONT YOU HAVE HIM IN LAST PERIOD?" evelyn said still screaming in my face "yeah we sit next to each other but that doesn't mean he as a thing for me" i laughed awkwardly. she was causing a scene people started to give us weird looks "now, can you please stop yelling?" i said calmly "yeah sure but i know a friend who knows him so i can get y'all together, you really need to get a boyfriend y/n!" "i'm fine with being single Evelyn" evelyn sighed.

*next day at school*

Third person pov:

i was walking down the hallways going to my first period until someone came up behind me to stop me. i turned around and i saw bruce standing in front of me, my eyes widened "hey! you're y/n right, we have last period together?" "yeah that's me" "great! your friend evelyn told me we should get to know each other, so do you wanna hang out after school? i know a great ice cream shop we can go too." "yeah sure! that's fine with me" i smiled i looked to the side, i saw evelyn with her friend behind a pole but when i looked they quickly hid behind the pole "great.." i thought to myself.

*timeskip a couple months and you and bruce to get to know each other*

Y/n's pov:

Me and bruce became friends and hung out everyday ever since then. i was at my house on my bed listening to music until i heard the phone ring i went downstairs to answer it "hello?" i heard bruce's voice on the other line "hey y/n, can you come to ******* park please? i need to tell you something serious." "of course bruce! did something happen?" "no, just come here please" "okay i'll be on my way!" i quickly put on my shoes got on my bike.

*at the park*

when i finally arrived, i got off my bike and started walking over to the park, i saw bruce sitting on a swing slighting rocking himself. "hey bruce i came as fast as i could! what's wrong?" "oh hi y/n!" bruce got off the swing "i like you" bruce said staring into my eyes "what do you mean, like as a friend?" i ask with a raised eyebrow "no, more then that, i really like you y/n. can i be your boyfriend?" damn, he's super straightforward. it took me a minute to process, but i happily said yes. bruce smiled "great, do you wanna go to *insert favorite restaurant here* i'll pay." "yes please i'm starvinggg!"

me and bruce went out to eat and i had an amazing time. he rode his bike with me all the way to my house and hugged me at my door "goodnight babe" he said with a cheeky smile i blushed "goodnight bruce!"

*next day at school*

i was walking to school when i see a girl i don't recognize walking up to me, "you're y/n l/n right?!" the girl asked "yes, who are you???" "i'm your boyfriends number one fan! how does it feel to have bruce yamada like you?!" how the hell does this girl know i'm dating bruce, its literally only been a day since he asked me out? i thought to myself. i walked passed her to see a crowd of people i push some people out of the way to see bruce in the middle of the circle talking about..me?

"oh look there she is!" bruce yelled in front of everyone. i felt everyone watching me, bruce came up to me and held me by my waist. everyone was screaming things like, "such a cute couple!" i whispered to bruce "how do all these people know we're dating?" "well, i told them how amazing you are and that to you mean the world to me of course." i turned red. some people started recording, he really does have some crazy fans. bruce put one hand off of my waist to lift my chin up and kiss me.
