finney x reader - insecure

A/n: this is angst but it turns into fluff !

Y/n pov:

I was in class listening to the teacher until i saw my boyfriend talking with the prettiest girl in school, every guy wanted to be by her side and of course she had to sit next to MY boyfriend. i was jealous at first but then she started flirted with finney, my heart started to shatter into pieces so i just looked away and kept looking at my desk. i heard them talking and she wouldn't shut up. i started to get annoyed and i asked to use the bathroom.

i went to the bathroom farthest from my classroom so i can stay out of class for as long as possible, i don't think i could've handled seeing them together any much longer. i walked into the bathroom to see gwen "y/n? what are you doing in this bathroom, this is for the 6th graders?" i was a year above gwen so i wasn't supposed to be in there "i just wanted to leave class.." "but you have finney in the class your in right? why would you-" before she could finish i felt tears running down my cheeks. "y/n! what's wrong?!" gwen said coming closer to give me a hug "it's just i feel like finney's gonna leave me for some girl in our class, she kept flirting with him" i started sobbing lightly into gwen's arms, when i leaned away her shirt was all wet "im sorry gwen i-" "don't be sorry y/n, i can talk to finney if you want i hate to see you like this" she frowned "no it's okay i'll tell him myself at your guy's house alright?" she nodded "well i have to get to class now, i wish i could stay longer to comfort you more..." she said looking down "it's okay gwen i don't want you to get in trouble, see you at your house" "bye y/n" she said with a smile and left the bathroom

"i should get going too" i thought to myself. i put water on my face to calm me down and left the bathroom.

*timeskip after school*

i was walking out school then i saw finney and that girl again. gwen came behind me and gave the girl a dirty look "i'm gonna go talk to her and give her a piece of my mind." gwen said with anger in her voice "wait gwe-" gwen started sprinting to the girl and finney and said "hey you! come with me" "um who are you?" she said with a raised eyebrow "im finney's sister gwen, i need to tell you something." gwen grabbed the girls wrist and started walking with her somewhere else, i wasn't sure what gwen's plan was but i hope it was good enough for her to back off of finney.

finney noticed me and called out to me i walked up to him and asked if i could visit at his house today, he agreed and i didn't say anything the whole way there until finney asked "y/n, are you okay? you're pretty quiet today." i didn't say anything back because i felt like if i said something everything was just gonna burst and i might say something i don't mean.

*at finney and gwen's house*

we arrived at his house and i went into his room, it was filled with science stuff. i saw him fidgeting with his rocket ship thing but he only does that when he's nervous. "so what did you wanna talk about?" he said sitting on his bed, i sat next to him and made eye contact.

"look finney, i saw you and her talking today, and i got really jealous at first but when i saw her flirting with you i felt like you were gonna leave me for her and.."

i felt my eyes start to water and i look away from finney while he was still staring at me. i couldn't hold back the tears any longer so they just started rolling down my cheeks.

"and i..i feel like you deserve better then me because you're such a sweet guy and you deserve everything in the wor-" finney shut me up by kissing me on the lips

my eyes widened while tears were still forming

"y/n, i never knew you felt that way. you're the most gorgeous girl i've ever met and i hate to see you cry. i would never leave you for anyone, you're my dream girl and i couldn't ask for anyone better. you deserve to be treated like a princess."

he said hugging me tightly, i didn't hug back for a few seconds i just started crying even more but it wasn't sad tears, i was crying of happiness. i love finney so much i hugged him back and i left a big fat wet spot on his shirt when we stopped hugging

"i'm sorry i-"

"shhh..." he said putting a finger to my mouth smiling then he leaned in and kissed me one more time
