"I want to say thank you, to everyone who came here today. Well, me and Jack had only been married for a few days, then the big incident had taken two of the most important people in this family to meet their creator.

I was truly indebted to Jack for saving and giving me a chance to be part of his family. And Liam, wherever you are, I'll always wait for you.

I hope with this, I can send prayers to Jack and Liam. Thank you for attending. ". I switched off the microphone. I had let the twins gave their speeches first, everyone that came was strangers to my eyes but I could tell Jack really was a friend too them. As the casket lowered deeper, everyone threw white roses into. Words of me being the young wife had my name in every mouth. Some said I planned on killing him but the incident helped me. Others said I am a gold digger and will throw the kids into an orphanage. That's where they crosses the line.

I walked directly to their direction and said "Noah and Mary aren't going away. There is no way I'm giving them up for adoption. I know Jack was your friend and business partners but keep in mind that if ANY of you hurts my twin, emotionally or physically, I'm gonna do something. Bad." I stood there still, holding both the kid under my arms.

The rude 'guest' realized I had everyone watching them and they left. I apologised to everyone and stop halfway bowing to them. Jack usually would cleared his throat or just being obvious by saying don't bow. This time, I took pride in being a truly free women from slavery. I stood straight back up, smiling to everyone and the crowd clapped their hands which had me confused.

"Congrats, Sara. Everyone liked your passions for us." Mary smirked. She was being sarcastic with the smile. Noah laughed and I've never felt so supported, I pulled them both into my arms and hugged them for a long time.

"Madame, isn't it fortunate that the sky is as bright as blue seas and not dark like the storm?" Harvey went and started a conversation after everyone had left, even the kids. They both went home with Margaret first. I thought I was alone in the cemetery of the man who freed me and the empty grave of the man who hated me.

"Good day, Sir Harvey. I wonder if Jack and Liam get to cross over happily." sighed. A drop of tear fell from my eyes. Harvey immediately lend his pale blue, embroidered handkerchief.

"I'm sure Jack is happy that you're standing by his family side." he wiped the tombstones.

"Only Jack? How about Liam?" I asked. Why would he only say Jack's? Despite Joseph's being almost 40 and his younger twin brothers are 35, the Clarks family had good business with the Moores. No reason for them to have a favourite.

"I believe that he's somewhere else until he come back home. The country's swimmer doesn't suddenly drown. Don't give up, the kids need their new mother to be by their side." he said. I nodded as I also had hoped to believe in his words.

"I've been close with your family for years. If anything, Liam is stranded on an island somewhere. He wasn't someone who can be hurt easily." he pulled my shoulder closer to his chest. I resisted and push him away before realising I've been there for hours that the sky started getting darker with the wet clouds that are ready to be squeezes. I stared at him.

"I actually find you quite interesting. Just when I thought I know how to read people's body languages and minds, you proved me wrong, every single time. What's in your head?" he asked as he walked closer, still holding the umbrella to my side.

"Aren't you the genius? Can't you tell that a mourning wife was grieving her late-husband?"

"Well, something is telling me you're either not truly in love with my late friend or you're just keeping a secret. Which is it?" he lifted up two fingers.

"Forget it, I've only known you for a few days yet you're expecting me to tell you my feelings?" I took my bag and start walking away. I thought of walking home but with the current weather, I might need to stop somewhere halfway.

"Let's talk about you again!" Harvey shouted from where he stood. My bag dropped to the ground. Footsteps behind me getting closer.

"What did you say?" I turn slightly.

"Send me a reply." he put a card into my bag as he picked it up. My other hand was hold out and his dark blue umbrella was placed firmly. He rode his carriage and left the cemetery.

It's pouring heavily. The hem of my dress was wet and the heels I'm wearing was broken. There's a little building with a roof on my way home. I waited there and lay my back to the wall.

Ever since I moved here, which had been a week, I've already learnt some part of this town's roads. Sometime I would take a walk early in the morning right after sending the kids to school. Then I'd work on the garden that supposed to be a surprise for Jack and Liam. The garden looked more lively now that it's not a wasteland. Lovely too, with the kids decorating the fountain, the plants and the bird nests.

I never thought I was capable or good at handling kids, and I would never know I was able to meet lots of people. Even after Jack explained that I am to fill in his spot while Liam need to feel more humane with others to make sure their businesses are life-long, I still don't understand how to do that. The books I've read doesn't seemed to be of use, especially now that Liam was gone too.

I certainly don't regret meeting them, they're wonderful. Noah and Mary are the greatest kids I've ever met. I got sold for not wanting to marry a guy that's almost 20 years older than me and ended up marrying a man who's 30 years older. He claimed I was free and can do what I want, but right now, I wanted to be the head of their family, Noah and Mary need someone to take care of them.

After a while of sitting in silence, the rain too had lightly pouring, I took of my shoes and walked straight home. Its almost late noon. I was welcomed into the house with Mary hugs.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?"

"For being the kindest mother/sister figure." Mary smiled. There's a hint of sadness in her eyes, like she just cried.

"I wouldn't change it." I pushed her away, no way I'm getting her clothes wet. That day, all we did was sit around the fire and talked while drinking hot beverages. Session of hours of getting more things to know about them.
