"Oh Jack, what is it that I really supposed to do?" I asked him after wiping my own tears.

"I need you to show Liam that I love him so much and I regret letting Susan die alone. That's my last wish. He doesn't trust me anymore, our house might fall if he left. I need you to let him feel love again. I haven't spend enough time building my relationship with him. And now I'm afraid I don't have him anymore. " he take out a key from his pocket and place it in my hand. "The key to the room."

" You've freed me from my slavery, and as gratitude, I shall do my best in keeping your family together. " I kneeled and bow again. He nodded and I stand up to leave the room. Just as a walk out the door, I bumped into Liam. He was standing a few steps away from the door. I bumped into him so hard that I lose my stand.

"Watch where you're going." he said, giving me a side eye. A red drip fall on to my hand. My nose had start bleeding and I didn't have any handkerchief right now. I cover it with my hand and stand up.

"What are you hiding? Jewellery?" he pull my hand away from my face. My eyes still tearing from talking with Jack.

"Let me go." I tried to unhand him from my wrist. He kept quiet for a second before saying.

"Are you so weak that only a little knock on your nose made it bleed and cried?" he put his face closer to look at my face.

"Unhand me right now." I pull my hand harder. He let go immediately. I glared at him before walking away. I can't afford to let this dress dirty of my blood. I ran down to where the bathroom was and washed my face clean. I put a wet cloth over my nose and went out the house.

At the backyard, there's a big garden. The house is on the upper part of the hill while the garden is on the lower. I walk down and saw how nobody take care of this beautiful garden. Mosses, grass, mushrooms and wild flower are scattered everywhere. Even dead plants are still there. I guess I'm gonna be here for awhile, maybe I should make use of this place.

I return to the house after observing the garden. It's still morning. I walk around again, trying to know the corridors and floors.

I've walked all around the house, through each floors and rooms. Except the three where it have a name written on a board on the door, Mary and Noah room is just next to each other while Liam's room is a bit in the end of the second floor. Every room seems like it's used everyday, no dust or hair, nothing.

The only room that caught my attention was the second room on the third floor. It was filled with so many books and bright enough to read by the window even at night. There is already a library on the first floor, or should I say study room? It was big and holds more place to sit than shelves. This room up here, is more like a space for storing things, but instead it is stored with books. Another safe place for me to hide in my thoughts.

I step out of the room, and thought I should study about this family's business. It's only the second day and I'm already being nosy with checking every rooms in the house. I walk down to where my room is on the second floor. By the door, I see Liam leaning on it. He's staring at the ceiling, so intense it might burn if he has laser eyes.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked in the best manner I can use. He look at me in surprise and stand straight.

"You dropped this. I could've thrown this away, you know. Except, I was kind enough to hand it to you personally. I should've known better what your intention was. " he hand an envelope into my palm.

I glanced at it and realised Liam had misunderstood me again. It was the future cruise trip business plan that I was gonna read, perhaps Liam thought I'm gonna steal it away.

"Are you sure what you're thinking is the truth?" I asked, staring at him.

"Don't question if what I think is right or wrong, when there's a bright ray of light shining on the proof." he spit out the words.

"Only by looking at one thing, you thought you've understand the whole issue. If you were so kind, I'm asking you to safely step away from the door. I wish to study in peace." I holds my grip tighter till my knuckles turn white. I've been looked down so many times before and endured so much pain. But for some unknown reason, Liam had always been on my nerve.

"I'm not gonna let you sweep all our wealth off till this family is ruined. Remember my words, I don't want to see you near me, even once I'm home from the trip." he said before walking pass by me.

I turned around and yelled a not so high but not so slow sentences.  " I would've want that too if I were any stupider than you."

He pretended he didn't hear that so I storm into my room and sit on the bed. The books that I placed on the table are still untouched. Determined to set my thoughts on other things, I lay the books in order and start reading them one by one.

A few hours gone by, I've reached down to my last page of the 4th documents when there's  a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said. Soon after, the door swung open slowly. Noah is holding the door knob with a plate on his hand.

"Hey Sara, you missed lunch and I thought we can eat together, if you don't mind." he look to the ground, there's shyness in his voice and pulled my lips into a smile.

"Come here buddy, you haven't eat because you waited for me?" I asked. Noah nodded and I put all the books on the table, letting him set the big plate on the bed.

"Oh my gosh, it's already 2.30 pm. Why didn't you eat with Mary and your father?" I asked and put a sandwich into my mouth. He follows with his own sandwich.

"Just because, I wanted to spend time with you but Liam wouldn't let me disturb you. He said you were unwell." he said and stuffed few of those little blue fruits in his mouth.

"He said that? Hard to believe, buddy." I replied, my eyes is glued to the small red fruits on his plate.

"He actually did, he won't even let me know how sick you were. But I know now that he lied. You seemed well." he answered.
"Do you want some of this strawberries? I like the tangyness." he offer a what-he-call strawberry into my plate.

"Anyways, how's training?"
