A/N: Hey guys! If you don't know this is based off of the TikTok series from my page (hellfire.princess). Feel free to check that out! But I hope you all enjoy!
Hawkins, Indiana, 1986.
The smell of hair products, cheap perfume and cigarettes lingered in your bedroom. The old, small bedroom that looked like a unicorn had barfed on everything. That same bedroom that you've struggled to make it not look like a nine-year-old lived in your room. Pinks and purples covered the entire room from head to toe. The only solution you had was to cover the walls with posters of your favorite bands and movies. The group from The Outsiders always greeted you a good morning when you woke up. Especially Patrick Swayze.
Back in the old town of Hawkins, dreading your first day back in the school district. The only reason why you came back was to help with your widowed mother's mental health. When you were 14 your parents had hit a few bumps in their marriage. Worried about your old man, you moved with him to Nashville to look over him. After he passed, he left you mostly everything. Your parents may have fallen off the wagon but your dad sure did still care about your mother. Wanting to respect his wishes of you taking care of your mom and to look after her, you dragged you ass back to Hawkins in that '68 Mustang that he left you.
The baby, who was known as Abaddon, roared to life once the ignition was started and that's when your dreaded day began to sink in. Your sunglasses sat on the bridge of your nose as you sped through the back roads of the town. Once you pulled up into the school's parking lot all eyes were glued onto your vehicle. The tires screeched as you whipped into an empty parking spot, your music soon blaring shortly after.
"Is that our old babysitter, Y/N?" Mike questioned as he pointed out a familiar vehicle that they have all seen before.
Heads turned to the car that was darker than your own soul. You weren't even paying attention as you leaned back into the driver's seat with your eyes closed listening to AC/DC play through the speaker, that was until a knock on your window made you grumble. Being a morning person was never a part of your day. Huffs could be heard as you cranked the windows down.
"Can you people fuck off and let me have a moment of silence?"
"Well good god dang morning to you, Y/N!" Dustin exclaimed with a braces free smile.
You whipped your head to the side to look at the boys who you used to babysit when they were a tad bit smaller. Your eyes widened a bit realizing that your heinous bitch persona just smacked them all in the face. "Shit guys, I'm sorry for that little outburst."
"Don't worry about it, we've probably heard worse." Mike snickered as he looked down at you. Yes, down at you. Geez, what the hell is in the Hawkins water?
"My oh my! You guys have gotten taller since I last saw you."
"You have definitely been taken by The Dark Side since we last saw you." Mike commented as he referred to your mostly black apparel.
Motley Crue band members were printed on your shirt, you really only bought the shirt because Tommy Lee, your favorite, was the center of attention on the shirt. Your worn-out black jeans that look gray now had rips in the knees, fishnets peeking through the windows of those holes. The icing on the cake was the Doc Martens that your dad had bought you for your 19th birthday.
"I'm not the same old bubblegum babysitter that you boys remember."
"We can tell. Plus, we have a new babysitter." Dustin shrugged with an amused look on his face.
You cocked an eyebrow and looked at the three boys more intrigued with your wheels behind you. "New babysitter? You are all like 15 now."
"Yeah, yeah. Steve's been huffing and puffing about that too."
