Arvin POV
a long day at work at the coffee shop. yes i work at a coffee shop and what? it's only so i can look after me and my daughter who is 9 months old. her name is lily. lily rose y/n Russell. i'm a single parent as when my girlfriend was giving birth to my baby girl. our baby girl. she passed away 3 minutes after as she has a difficult birth, we was warned that y/n wouldn't make it through the birth but she wanted to go through it so she could pick her babies life. i didn't really want her to but she wouldn't listen to my argument so i had no choice but to let her go. y/n got to hold her just before she passed. it breaks my heart knowing she is gone but i still have her with me and that's in our daughter. people thought i resent my girl but i never ever could. i love lily so so much. it is sad that she wouldn't grow up with a mum but at least she has a family that love her. y/n will be missed always.
after working at the coffee shop i clear up the place then start to head off to my sister Lenora's house where she is looking after lily. i got in my car and drove to her place. once i got there i saw both of the girls on the porch playing around. i get out of the car and walk to them both. i catch Lenora's eyes and she smiles and picks up lily and points my direction making lily turn her head to look at me. "look lily it's your daddy" i smile looking at happy lily. i take her out of Lenora's arms and held her on my hip. "hey baby" i say to her as i kiss her delicate head. "so has she been good?" i ask "she has been amazing as always Arvin" i smile brightly hearing lily has been good for auntie. "i better get going but thank you for looking after lily for me" Lenora smiles at me and says, "no worries anytime you know this" i smile and wave as i walk back to my car. as i got back to the car i turn toward Lenora and grab lily's hand and waved it to her as it looked like she was saying bye. Lenora smiles as she walks back inside her home. i open the back door where the baby seat is and strap lily into it so she can't get out when driving. "there you go my baby" as i put a blanket softly around her bottom half and kiss her head. i get in the car and drive back home.
i finally got back home with lily being so good all the way home just a few baby noises that i find adorable. i get out the car and open the door where lily was sat in her baby seat playing with her little feet that was wrapped in cotton white socks. i unbuckled her and picked her up in my arms taking everything i need with me into our little home. once we got in i put everything down including lily in her little play pin where she plays with her toys that just barely fit in her toy hands. i do work around the house while lily played obviously still keeping an eye on her. i noticed she was getting a bit cranky and wanted to be lifted so i stopped my chores and picked her up. "hi princess i'm here baby i'm here" as i put her on my shoulder rubbing her back gently cooing her. i thought she was getting hungry so i made her night time bottle as she was fed by Lenora since it was tea time and i finished worked at 6 and got in at 7 so i thought it was a bottle then bed for lily. her bottle was ready so i took it up the stairs with me into her little room and sat on a chair opposite her cot. i laid her in my arms so she was comfortable and fed her bottle to her gently and told her a cute story. once she finished i saw she was really sleepy so i got up with her and put her gently on my shoulder and cuddled her and rocked her to sleep. when she did fall asleep eventually. i kept her in my arms a little while longer not wanting to let go like i always do. after a couple minutes i put her down in her cot. i kissed her head and whispered "i love you so much lily rose y/n Russell"
