Now, I say everything was fine. Until I came home from work one day and heard some names I'd hoped I wouldn't hear for a while.
"Come on, Draco," Bellatrix encouraged. "If this is Harry Potter, then we must call the Dark Lord." I mentally cursed. How did he get caught?
"I can't be sure," Draco answered.
"Look closely, Draco," Lucius demanded, and I heard Draco gasp. Lucius was no doubt pushing him closer. "If we can be the ones to hand Harry over to the Dark Lord, then all will be forgiven." I held in a scoff. He'd never be forgiven if I had any say in it.
"Now I hope we won't be forgetting who actually caught him, Mr. Malfoy," Greyback spoke up.
"You dare talk to me like that in my own house?" Lucius yelled.
"Lucius, get back," Narcissa spoke softly but sternly.
"Come, come, Draco," Bellatrix coaxed him closer. "Now, if we call him without being absolutely certain and we're wrong, then he'll kill us all. So look closely."
There was a pause. "What's wrong with his face?"
"Yes, what is wrong with his face?" Bellatrix asked.
"He came to us like that," one of the snatchers defended.
"Well, fine if he can't tell, get Larissa here," Bellatrix demanded. I couldn't hide anymore. I opened the door once again as if I was just entering. "Larissa?"
"What?" I called, shutting the door and walking in. I acted shocked by the scene. "Well, well, well, we have some intruders today."
It was very clearly Harry, though he'd been hit by some stinging jinx. I dropped my coat into Wormtail's arms along with my briefcase. He would set them aside for later. I walked up to Harry and looked down at him. He stared at the ground.
"Well, if you're going to trespass, it's only polite to look at me," I pointed out. When he didn't look up, the Snatcher holding him grabbed his hair and forced him to look up at me. I raised an eyebrow. "Hm."
"Hm?" Bellatrix asked, walking up beside me. "Is this Harry Potter?"
"Harry Potter?" I questioned, turning to face her. "You think this is Harry?
"Here, look, this might be the scar," Lucius offered, pushing Harry's hair aside. I barely gave it a glance.
"Why would Harry wander into here?"
"He didn't," Greyback spoke up. "We found him and the two others over in the Forest of Dean." I took this moment to look over at Ron and Hermione as if noticing them for the first time. I considered what he said.
"Well, we-" I was cut off by Bellatrix's gasp. "Can I help you?"
"What is that?" she asked, walking past me and pointing to one of the Snatchers who was holding a sword. "Where'd you get that?"
"Found it out in the woods," he beamed, holding it up. "Seems it's mine now." Before anyone could say anything, Bellatrix shot spells at all the Snatchers, rendering them unconscious or petrified, and had the sword in her hands.
"Damn it, Bellatrix," I snapped, blocking a spell she fired near me. "Are you bloody mad?"
"I want the girl," she demanded, walking over to Hermione. She grabbed her hair, and Hermione whimpered slightly. "The other two need to go to the dungeons so we can have a little chat."
I tried to think of what to do or say, but I had nothing. I looked at Lucius and Wormtail. "Well? Are you deaf?" They quickly grabbed Harry and Ron, dragging them downstairs. I looked at Bellatrix who shoved Hermione to the ground. "What the hell is your plan here?"
