Ever

Seven more amazing months have gone by already and prom night is finally tonight. I'm just a few hours away from going to prom with Damen, my wonderful boyfriend. He's perfect. He's everything I could've asked for in a guy. I'm so excited, because we've decided that tonight is the night.

The seven months that we've been together, Damen has been really sweet and protective. He won't let Allyson get close to me or even attempt to talk to me. I never expected to have a boyfriend like him, but I'm lucky. It's almost like he's my angel sent from heaven to keep me safe. He's not one, but he's immortal, which is even better, because he'll never die and leave me alone.

Ever since Damen talked with Allyson 7 months ago, she's stopped bothering me. Sometimes she still gives me ditry looks, which kind of scares me, but then I remember I have Damen. Oh my God, I'm just a few hours away from going to my prom with my incredible boyfriend and I'm starting to get nervous. Damen just texted me.

Damen: baby, i'll pick you up at 7 tonight. can't wait to see you. <3

Me: Can't wait to see you either, love. ^.<3

I have to start getting ready, because it's already 3 and that only leaves me 4 hours to get ready, which trust me, is not enough time.

Last weekend, I went shopping for my prom dress with Skylar. She finally came back from Waikiki. I missed her so much and I'm super glad that she's here to help me on this special night. She's staying with my parents and I. She's more like my older sister that I adore than my best friend and my parents treat her like if she were another daughter. So, she always come to crash at our place when she comes back from school, because her parents died in a car crash when she was a sophomore and I was a freshman. She went through a lot, but she's here and that's all that matters.

As I'm getting out of the shower, Skylar sees the pictures I have on top of my drawers of Damen giving me a piggy back ride, him kissing my cheek, and the first photo I ever took of him.

As she picks up the one of him, she says, "This is Damen Evans? Your boyfriend? When you described him to me, I never thought he'd be so good looking. Dang, you have good taste in guys, Ever."

"Why thank you, Skylar, but back off. This one's mine," I say with a smile.

"Hey, I said that he was good looking, but I never said that I was interested in him," Skylar replies.

"Skylar, stop being nosy and come help me get ready, already. Damen could be here any minute, now and if you keep standing there, drooling over my boyfriend, I won't be ready on time!" I tell her.

"Okay, chill. That's what I'm here for, to make you look gorgeous for your yummy boyfriend on this special night," she responds. Oh Skylar, she'll never change.

She then takes my dress out of my closet and helps me put it on. The dress I chose is the color of the ocean, with silver diamonds decorating the top of it and it's short on the front and long in the back. I fell in love with it when I first saw it, just like I fell in love with Damen. Isn't it perfect? I really liked it, because it makes my aqua eyes stand out, and Damen loves them. He even nicknamed me Baby Blues. He said that's one of the things that makes me most beautiful, my eyes. That's what I love most about him, he's always sweet and constantly telling me that I'm gorgeous.

I blow dry my hair and Skylar helps me curl it in a cute up-do. I have a feeling that this night is going to be amazing, so I decided to do something different with my hair for this special night. After I'm done with my hair, I put on my makeup, but not too much. Skylar helps me make it look cute, but natural. I still wear make-up even though Damen tells me I don't need any, because I secretly don't believe him, even though he probably already knows this since he can read people's thoughts.

Then I suddenly hear "What Makes You Beautiful" from my boys blasting through my speakers. Oh, Skylar, she always knows what gets me hyped up. I have a little crush on Harry and it gets Damen jealous sometimes, but I think he's cute when he gets jealous, so I do it on purpose. I'm so bad.

As the song is ending, I hear my mom yelling, "Ever, honey, Damen is here and he looks really handsome tonight! Hurry up and come down so you could see him!"

Oh great, my mom is down there with him. Most likely embarrassing me, like always. I grab my purse and get out of my room in my really silver stilettos.

I'm walking down the stairs really slow, like they do in those movies so that it could be more dramatic and romantic, but then my mom ruins it when she says, "Any day now would be nice, honey."

Oh God, typical mom. I decide to just go down the stairs like a normal person. When I look up, I see Damen's jaw drop. Oh, yeah. I made the perfect choices, but then I look at Damen and I notice that woah, he made the perfect choices, too. Did I mention I'm so lucky to have a boyfriend like him?

Damen

I've been together with Ever for seven months, now. She has made me the happiest guy in the whole galaxy. I love being with her. I love everything about her. She's incredible.

Tonight is prom night. I've been waiting for this day for a long time now, and it's finally here. I love how she makes me feel. She makes me feel weak yet warm inside. She's my other half. She's the reason why I've been living all these years, to find her.

To make this night special, I rented a limo and paid her the boys, yes, One Direction to play at prom. I know I already took her to a concert, but I love spoiling her, because it makes her so happy. I also invited them just so they could know that Ever's still mine. Yeah, now who's going to be jealous? Harry, that's who.

I'm walking up the stairs to Ever's front door, about to knock on the door when I realize that I'm nervous. I can't wait to see what she wears. This is my first time going to prom and with such a beautiful girl? I must be the luckiest guy on Earth.

I knock on the door, and Mrs. Nightingale opens the door and greets me with "Why, hello Damen! How are you, sweetie? Ever is right upstairs, she'll be down in a few minutes."

"Good evening, Mrs. Nightingale. I'm doing great, just a little nervous. That's fine, I don't mind waiting," I reply.

Minutes later, I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and when I turn around to look up the stairs, I see Ever. She looks gorgeous. I can't believe she's mine. That dress makes her beautiful eyes stand out. She looks amazing.

"Hey babe, I'm ready, now. We should start leaving already. We don't want to be late," Ever says.

I'm so distracted by her beauty that I reply with, "Uh-huh."

We're on our way out, when her mom says, "Where do you think you're going? I have to get pictures! It's prom night! A night to remember! Come here."

"Mom, c'mo-. Oh, no wait. Omg, I want another picture to put on my drawer! So I can remember this night forever," she says smiling as she pulls me towards her.

After the pictures, we're finally on our way to prom. On the way there, we listen to music and talk about our future plans. I'm positive she's the one I want to marry and have kids with. What can I say? I've found that special lady.

As we approach the school, I get a feeling that this night is going to be the best night of my life.

As we get out of the limo, and walk towards the entrance of the gymnasium, I hold Ever's hand tightly and I say, "Prepare to have the best night of your life, baby."
