You're the narrator of your own story, the main character, the player
don't follow what other people tell you to do, follow what you think is the best for you, and create your own story about what you think will give you a fulfilling life and what will make you happy.
(Obviously, don't just do what you think is right, do a Lil investigation first, after all, you cant have a retry, better safe than sorry!)
Maybe you want a companion? You'll have to actually try to talk to people, though it may seem hard, there are many ways you could do it! Perhaps fish one out of the ocean?
