My Mistakes

Chapter 2: Kellin, My New Boyfriend?!

I sat there alone in tears.

"That's it!" I said to myself.

"I'm going to be alone this school year! First year of high school at a new school and I'm going to be alone!"

The thought of that made me cry more. What was wrong with me?! Am I really that bad of a person?! I walked down the hall way. Just then I felt someone grab my arm. My bad arm. My eyes filled with tears as pain shot through my arm. I went to turn and swing then noticed who it was. It was Kellin.

"I told you I'd come back." He whispered.

I couldn't help myself. I gave him a hug and softly weaped on his shoulder. He stared at me with his ocean blue eyes.

"Your arms. Why?" He said with his eyes filled with tears.

"I just, I just can't deal with life anymore."

"Promise me something?" He said softly.

"Yes?"

"Don't do it again. Please. You're way too beautiful to scar yourself."

"I promise."

Then he softly pecked my cheek. I blushed. Then he hugged me. I didn't want to let go. Then the bell rang. End of school. As we walked out hand in hand his sister came up to us.

"Kellin! What the hell did I tell you?! Get away from that suicidial!"

"No Sadie. You're going to listen for once.She isn't a bad person. If you actually get to know her, you would actually like her."

"Oh please Kellin! You just met her! It's not like you're in love! Come on! I'm taking you home."

"Actually Sadie I am in love. In love with her. And no Sadie. I'm riding home, on the bus, with my new beautiful girlfriend."

Everyone stopped and stared. It got super quiet.

"Yeah that's right. Elyssa, will you go out with me?"

I was super shocked. I couldn't say a word. Finally I managed to choke out the word "Yes"

Sadie was super mad. I could see it in her eyes. She looked at me in disguist then at her brother. Then in a blink of an eye she stormed off screaming.

"Kellin she seems really mad. Why did you do that?"

"Because I love you. I care way too much for you to loose you. I'm not going to let my sister drive you to suicide."

He then took my hand and we walked to the bus. Everyone stared at us. Like we were some freaky creatures from outerspace. We sat in the back of the bus. Just the 2 of us. We sat in silence for awhile then I finally said something.

"Hey do you want to hang out today?" said Kellin.

"Yeah! That would be fun!" I said shyly.

Then my stop came.

"My house is this one." I said pointing to the dark grey house.

"Ok! I'll come at 6?" said Kellin.

"Ok! See you then!"

"Elyssa?"

"Yes?" I answered.

"I love you."
