My Mistakes

Chapter 7: You're what!

I starred at him in disbelief. We just had un-protected sex. He never pulled out either. I sat up and put my hands on my head and started to cry.

"Baby please don't cry." he said while hugging me. I pushed him away . I couldn't believe him. I'm now at risk of being 15 and pregnant. I got up and got dressed and went into the living room. Kellin came in there and hugged me. I turned around and buried my head in his chest. He stroked my hair. I felt his tears fall on my shoulder. 

"I'm so sorry baby. I wasn't thinking." he said weeping. I couldn't talk. I was too worried about finding out if I was pregnant or not. We walked back into the room, got in bed, and fell asleep.

A month had weent by since that night. No signs for awhile til one morning. I was awaken by Kellin's mom, dad and sister. I rubbed my eyes and walked out to the living room. Suddenly I felt really sick. I walked to the bathroom. As soon as I got in there I threw up. I got really scared. I walked back out to the living room and sat down by his sister. 

"So you want to hang out today?" Sadie asked looking at me.

"Uhh sure hang on let me go get dressed."

"Okay! I'll meet you outside." Then she turned around and walked towards her room.  I ran into our room and woke up Kellin. He looked so cute when he was sleeping. I shook him until he woke up.

"Well good morning beautiful." he said rubbing his eyes. 

"No time. I need $10." 

"Why?"

"Your sister is taking me out today and I'm going to secretly buy a test. I want to make sure."

"Baby there is a 50-50 chance you are."

"I had morning sickness."

He got real quiet and looked down. I think he was worried. Then he looked up at me and then at my stomach. 

"I have 10 in the drawer. Make sure Sadie doesn't see you buy it."

I walked over to his dresser and pulled out his wallet then got dressed. After that I kissed Kellin and walked outside to Sadie's car. I got in and buckled up then we left. It was really awkward riding in the car with Sadie. I mean any first time car rides are awkward but this one was way more awkward. Maybe it was the fact that I could be carrying her brother's baby or the fact that she used to hate me. We drove for a long time. I had no idea where we were going but by the looks of it, it was the mall. 

"Hey Sadie can you stop at this gas station up here I gotta use the restroom."

"Sure thing Elyssa."

When we pulled into the gas station I unbuckled and ran for the gas station. It felt awkward going in to a gas station at 15 buying a pregnancy test. I hurry up and grabbed one and payed for it then ran to the bathroom. I did what I had to do and waited. My heart started to beat really fast. Finally it was ready. There on that little stick was a pink plus which meant pregnant. I started to cry. Put the test back in the box and put the box in my pocket. After I washed my hands and dried them I walked back out to the car. 

"You ready?" asked Sadie.

"Yup." I said quietly.

I sat there the whole car ride in silence. It was a good 30 minute ride to where ever we were going. We finally arrived at our destination. It was the mall.

"I hope you don't mind. I thought I would get you some new stuff like clothes, shoes, anything you need."

"A ton a baby supplies." I muttered under my breathe. As we walked around the store all I saw were babies or baby stuff. It' like they were taunting me. After we got done shopping Sadie and I went to the food court and ate lunch.

"So," said Sadie, "Anything new?"

"Nope." I said quickly. 

"Everything okay?" asked Sadie. Then the words came up like word vomit.

"Sadie I'm pregnant."
