My Mistakes

Chapter 12: Well You Came Early!

"Future step mom?!" yelled Kellin.

"Now Kellin.Calm down." said his dad.

"No! I'm not going to 'calm down'! How could you already replace mom?!"

"We'll just leave you two alone. Come on Elyssa." said Elizabeth.

"Well son there is something I have to tell you."

"And what's that?"

"Elizabeth was my assistant. We had a 'thing' while your mother and I were still married. I then decided that I loved Elizabeth more than your mother."

Just then Kellin got up and stormed off. Elizabeth came up behind me and placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Boys these days. You don't know when they'll loose it. Especially young fathers."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" I snapped.

"Oh nothing bad! It's just well I'm an ultrasound technician and I see a lot of young parents like you guys come in. Their lives are completely ruined because of the pregnancy. Usually the father leaves because he isn't ready. Knowing Kellin and his actions there is a great chance that he will leave."

"I will have you know Kellin is ready ok! You have no idea what you are talking about! You think you know everything because you've been with his dad for however long you've been with him! You ruined Kellin's life, you ruined Christa's life, and you ruined my kids' lives. My kids will never EVER call you grandma. You are a disgrace to this family, and too much of a whore to be the grandmother of my kids."

After that I walked out of the kitchen and and walked upstairs to mine and Kellin's room where Kellin was laying down on the bed.

"What was all that screaming?" asked Kellin.

"It was nothing. Don't worry about it." I said. Then we fell asleep.

6 months have gone by really fast. It seems just like yesterday I was at the doctors finding out I was having twins. I was huge. I was on month 9  of carrying 2 kids. Only a couple more days til they were due. Tonight was the night of Kellin's dad and Elizabeth's wedding. I was a bridesmaid and Kellin was the best man. They didn't fit me for my dress til yestereday because I was still growing. The whole day we got ready for the wedding. Finally it was time. Elizabeth looked stunning. I was feeling very sluggish that day. The wedding went ok. I felt really wore out. Then came the after party. I was listening to the speeches being said for the bride and groom then it happened. My water broke. It was time.
