Chapter 5: Packing Up And Leaving

Today was finally the day I got out of the hospital. It has been a month or 2 since I was taking to the hospital. The doctors unhooked me from the machines, let me put my regular clothes on, get out of bed, and go home. To my new, safer home. The doctor said it was a miracle that I was still alive after what happened. After getting  and up and going we finally got in the car to head home. We had to stop at my old house to get my things. I wasn't aloud to go in by myself. Kellin's dad came in with me. As I gathered my things and walked upstairs my mom and Brad were starring at me. My mom was crying and Brad was mouthing the words "You're finally leaving you little bitch." I made a total of 5 trips in the house to gather my things. After the last trip, Kellin's dad went to the car and I told him I would meet him out there. I noticed something was missing though. My diamond necklace from my dad before he died. It was gone. I started to panic. I ran upstairs and got in Brad's face. I knew he took it to buy drugs or alcohol.

"Where is it Brad! I know you have it!"

"Where is what you ungrateful bitch!"

"My diamond necklace that my dad gave me before he died. It was on my dresser where it always has been and now it's gone. I know you took it! I want it back!"

Just then I saw a bright sparkle flash out of his pocket. My necklace. I lunged towards him grabbing the necklace. Before I could grab it Brad grabbed my arm and twisted it.

"Listen here! It was in my house in my basement. Therefore it is mine." Brad sneered in my ear.

"Uhm no! It was in my room on my dresser given to me by my dad. Therefore it's mine!" I sneered back. Just then Kellin's dad came in and pushed Brad off of me and grabbed my necklace. Kellin's dad told me to go out to the car and wait for him. I went to run out to the car when I heard a thud to the ground. It was Kellin's dad. Brad punched him. He got back up and punched Brad back. Soon it turned into a huge fight.

"You guys!" I screamed. "Stop it! Stop it right now!" I tried getting in the middle of it only to get punched in the eye by Brad. "That is it!" I thought to myself. No more Mrs. Nice girl anymore! I got up and punched Brad in the nose. I must have punched him hard because I heard a pop, and blood was everywhere. My mom came running in. She was paying more attention to Brad than me. I couldn't take it anymore. I looked at Kellin's dad and told him that I wanted to leave. So we both walked out of the house. Kellin's dad had a bloody lip and a black eye. I'm pretty sure I had a black eye too. We got in the car and drove down the road to my new house. It felt weird to call my boyfriends house my new house. It felt weird to call it my house period. Usually couples don't move in with each other at 15. This was all new for me. We got to the house and started taking my stuff into the house. As I walked up to the door Sadie was waiting there for me. She gave me a dirty look.

"I'm NOT sharing a room with her." She yelled at her mom.

"That's okay. You don't have to. She'll share one with Kellin.

I stood there in shock. I couldn't believe she was letting me share a room with him. I took all my stuff to his room.As soon as I got to his room my jaw dropped. It looked like my room! The posters, the color, the bed spread, everything. Kellin came up and hugged me from behind. He softly kissed my cheek. 

"Welcome home baby." He whispered in my ear. It sent shivers up my spine. 

"Where do you want me to put my stuff babe?" I asked him.

"Just toss it over there I'll get it later. In the mean time we got some stuff to do." He said winking at me.

"Oh really like what?" I said with a smirk on my face. Then out of no where he tackled me on the bed. He started kissing my face over and over again. Then he kissed m on the lips. As soon as he did that Sadie walked in the room. 

"Uhm ew get a room nasty."

"Well we did have a room but you walked in it." said Kellin.

Sadie gave him a dirty look. "Whatever. Mom wants you downstairs."

"Why?" asked Kellin.

"How should I know?" she snarled back. "Just get your ass down there. She said that suicidal over here needs to stay up here though." She said looking at me.

"Shut up Sadie." he yelled. "I'll be back babe." He kissed my forehead and walked downstairs.

"You do know he's getting "the talk" right?" she said.

"Yeah. I kinda figured." I answered back. We both sat there in silence. Finally I spoke up.

"Why do you hate me?" I asked Sadie.

"I don't hate you I hate how you aren't afraid to be yourself." 

I looked at her puzzled. "What are you talking about?"

"Look. I'm just like you and Kell. I listen to Pierce the Veil, Black Veil Brides, Avenged Sevenfold, and a ton others. But I hide it so I don't get judged.The whole popular thing is just a cover up."

I looked at her in shock. She turned and walked out of the room. I think she was mad at me for dropping my jaw and starring at her.

"But I swear. You tell anyone I will kill you!" she said turning around.

"Okay. I promise."
