[Dolores has never had a good night's sleep, but ever since she had learned to tune out Mariano, she listened to Y/n every night. She enjoyed those nights more. Whether it was listening to him sing his favourite song, or telling fairytales to his siblings/cousins; she loved every bit of it. Her little brother, Camilo, teased her for liking Y/n and constantly mocked her by shape-shifting into him while making kissing faces. Weeks and months went by and yet her feelings still grew bigger. She decided that she'd talk to him today]
DOLORES
Hello Y/N.
[She appeared next to him, out of nowhere]
Y/N
Ah! Oh, Dolores Madrigal right?
[He awkwardly smiled, terrified of where she came from]
DOLORES
Yes, your voice is very calming. I hear you every night and wondered if we could be friends?
Y/N
Yeah, sure! You seem cool, although that is a bit creepy.
[He agreed hesitantly. Dolores looked at him in awe and gave a genuine smile while nervous as she realised just how creepy that did sound. Y/n felt his heart flutter as if he had just eaten a cage of butterflies. He watched as Dolores walked away happily. Bringing his eyes off her, Y/n realised just how attractive he found her]

I wonder how people seem to not notice her...
[He sighed heavily. For the next few days, Dolores heard as he made scenarios of him and her as he sang a song that reminded him of her. Dolores' heart thumped loudly and her face was bright red. She knew she couldn't keep the secret of liking him for much longer, mainly because she isn't good at keeping secrets, but she assumed he felt the same way. Even though she was pretty accurate, she left confessing until a couple of days later to give him time. Time for what? She didn't know, she just thought it'd be good that way. The longer she waited the more impatient she got. Suddenly at a fast pace, she ran out of Casita]
CAMILO
Whoa- Dolores are you finally going to confess to Y/N?
[Camilo smirked]
FELIX
Hold on, who's Y/N?
[Felix asked, becoming protective of his only daughter]
DOLORES
Hm! No one important Papi.
[She called out, getting further away. Out of breath, she knocked on Y/n's door. She watched it swing open]
Y/N
Dolores? What are you doing here?
[He watched the pretty lady as she nervously played with her hands]
DOLORES
Y/N! I can't hold it in any longer, I'm in love with you! I don't care if you don't feel the same way, know I like you!
Y/N
Eh?- Dolores I... I don't know how I feel about you currently. However, I reckon over time I'll find out. Let's try this... together.
[Dolores looked up at you in almost tears, a soft smile slowly spreading on her face]
DOLORES
Yeah, together.

[Dolores happily dragged Y/n along to her home. He recently confessed his love for her through a letter, so she wouldn't hear it beforehand. She is now making him meet her family, officially, as he had only made brief conversation with some of them]
DOLORES
Come on! Dinner is starting soon.
Y/N
Hang on, mi corazón, I can barely catch up with you when you're this fast!
[They eventually make it to the glowing door, being let in immediately and walk to the table, catching their breaths]
PEPA
There you are, Mija! I was getting worri- [She notices Y/n holding her daughter's hand] Oh, is this the boy you keep talking about?
Y/N
Hola, Señora.
[Pepa hugs him, smiling proudly]
PEPA
Don't worry about that, call me Pepa! [To Dolores] You were right! He's such a handsome man!
[Dolores giggles slightly as her father looks at his wife in disbelief. The three sit down after Y/n greets everyone else. The afternoon goes by quickly, with the entire family accepting Y/n as Dolores' lover and some mild threats from her brothers. The day ends with the couple laying on Dolores' bed, cuddling while Y/n sings her favourite song]
