Jungkook loves spending time with Yuna but actually the thought of her spending a night with her grandparents is quite tempting.
Firstly, because she would obviously be very happy about it and secondly, because he could have a date with Taehyung - alone. Also, he wouldn't have to worry about Yuna because he can fully trust his parents. These are enough reasons for him to not think any longer about his answer.
"Give me the phone, please. I want to talk to grandma."
"Please, please, please!"
With puppy eyes, she hands the phone to her father.
"Hello, Mother."
"Hello, dear. The sleepover was our idea. I hope that's okay with you. I mean, she's a big girl already," his mother tries to convince him, even though it's not necessary.
"Sounds like a good plan to me," Jungkook says, watching happily as Yuna claps her hands with a wide grin.
"Does that mean you're okay with it?" his mother asks critically, not expecting this reaction.
"If our little tiger is up for it, why not? Shall I bring her over to you on Saturday evening?"
[Later - Kitchen]
During dinner Yuna and Jungkook sit together at the kitchen table. Today they're having bibimbap, a rice dish with egg, beef, and various vegetables. For Yuna, Jungkook specially omits the spicy chili paste.
"I can't wait for Saturday!" Yuna exclaims euphorically.
"What do you think of us having a nice day together on Saturday before I take you to Grandma and Grandpa's house?"
"Cool! What are we going to do?"
"It's supposed to be nice weather...maybe-"
"I want ice cream!", Yuna interrupts her father excitedly.
"All right then!"
"Yippee!"
Seeing his daughter smiling so brightly fills Jungkook with great joy. Fortunately, it's not hard to please Yuna. She's already thrilled by little things and is happy about pretty much everything. She's truly an angel.
As Jungkook watches her enjoying her dinner to the fullest, his eyes wander to her wrist where the little purple tiger is dangling around.
"You love this bracelet, right?" Jungkook asks, even though he already knows her answer.
"This is my favorite bracelet! It's so beautiful!" she replies, interrupting her meal to look proudly at the sparkling pendant.
"Maybe you should tell Taehyung at kindergarten. He'll definitely be happy to hear that," Jungkook suggests with a gentle smile on his face.
"That's a good idea! I'll tell Uncle Taetae tomorrow!"
A warm stomach feeling spreads through Jungkook, which is not caused by the hearty dinner.
"Little Tiger?"
"Yes?"
"The bracelet...it suits you."
[The next day - Kindergarten]
On this rainy summer day, the children aren't allowed to go outside in the garden. For this reason, Yuna and her four best friends play in the tiger group. In a mother-father-child role play, Yuna and Ryujin pretend to cook for their three children in the play kitchen.
