Epilogue

[13 years later]

Yuna's grandmother opens the door to her now 18-year-old granddaughter, who then lovingly embraces her. Her son's daughter has become a beautiful young woman. But in her heart, she will always remain her little angel.

"Hello, Grandma," Yuna says, giving her a peck on the cheek in greeting.

"Hello, dear. I'm glad you're having lunch with us today."

"I've been looking forward to that all day!"

Yuna headed straight to her grandparents' house after class. She's in her senior year and is already eagerly counting down the last few months of her high school.

The dining room table is already set. But before she takes her seat, she pours her grandparents their favorite drinks. She doesn't even have to ask anymore; as often as she's been here for lunch in the last few days, it's already become routine.

"Have you heard anything from your dads today?" her grandfather asks curiously, also sitting down at the table next to his wife.

"Yeah, dad sent me this picture today. Here, look" Yuna replies, holding out her cell phone to her grandparents. It's a photo of a black leather handbag with a purple tiger on it.

"Wow, it looks great!" both exclaim almost simultaneously.

"Daddy and Dad both wanted to bring me a souvenir from Hawaii. Since Dad was unsure about the bag, he wanted to ask me to be on the safe side. But I totally love it!"

Her grandmother smiles brightly at the sight of her granddaughter's beaming face. Taehyung absolutely hit her taste, after all, he still calls her "Purple Tiger" to this day. Throughout all these years, he has always been like a father to her, which is why she started calling him Dad affectionately. Jungkook has always been her daddy, and this will never change. The three have become a real little family.

Currently, the two men are on their very first couple-vacation together. They flew to Hawaii for a week, a gift from Jungkook's parents and Yuna for the couple's 13th anniversary.

Yuna enjoys having the house to herself for a few days, which Taehyung and Jungkook bought three years ago but that doesn't mean she doesn't miss her fathers. All these years, they have always looked out for her and she couldn't have imagined a more beautiful childhood.

"I'm so excited," Yuna says, grinning broadly as she swipes her fingertip back and forth on the phone's surface to find the next picture in the gallery. Then she holds the phone out to her grandparents again.

An enthusiastic "Wow" escapes her grandpa and a touching "Awww" from her grandma at the sight of the open ring box with a plain, matte silver ring.

"Daddy sent it to me this morning. He's going to ask Dad this evening. I can't wait!"

"Honey, it's already evening in Hawaii right now," she's reminded by her grandmother.

"Oh my god, you're right! Now I won't be able to eat anything because of the excitement," Yuna says with a giggle, holding her hand over her mouth as she looks at the picture of the engagement ring again, as she did so many times that day.

What she doesn't know is that at that very moment, the silhouettes of two men can be seen on a remote beach in Hawaii, holding hands and drawing footprints in the sand. The black silhouettes stand out clearly against the colors of the sunset, which can be found in the sky and in the reflection of the sea. The hues of red, orange, and yellow dominate, with the occasional color purple mixed in.

When Jungkook stops unexpectedly in the middle of the evening walk, Taehyung just looks back in wonder, not letting go of his hand. Then he's pulled closer to him so that they're standing closer, face to face. Jungkook lovingly caresses the back of Taehyung's hands until he kneels down in front of him. Then he releases one hand, using it to pull the ring box out of his pants pocket. To open it, he now releases the other hand as well. He presents Taehyung the silver ring, which sparkles under the evening sun, reflecting the colorful play of the sky.

Taehyung closes his mouth in disbelief and nods his head frantically several times. Nervously, he extends his trembling hand so that Jungkook can put the ring on his finger. When he stands up again, Taehyung jumps into his arms - both merging into one silhouette.
