I woke up the next morning to countless vibrations coming from my phone. I was a pretty heavy sleeper and wouldn't wake up to just one notification so that's when you know it's a lot.

I brought up my phone above my face and saw many messages of Nick complaining about me ending the call when he fell asleep.

I had forgotten my read receipts were turned on, for Kai's sake, and he ended up calling me while I was reading the texts he sent.

"Good morning, it's 10 am" I greeted him sleepily. He continues to pout in front of the camera, not saying a word and barely even looking at me. "Nick"

"Why'd you put down the phone?"

I sighed. The moment I opened my mouth to even speak, he cuts me off.

"You hate me"

"Where did you even get that information"

"Admit it, you hate me" He dramatically faked sobbed on the other side while I snugged deeper into my bed. I can't believe I was having this conversation at 10 am.

"If I said I did, would you cry?"

"Yes I would cry and never recover" He retaliated, keeping the fake sob voice in his tone "Then I'm gonna make out with George"

"Isn't he getting married tomorrow?"

"Yes, that's why I should make out with him right now before his scary ass wife comes and pinches my ear" He laughs at his own joke.

My eyes start getting heavy and it must have been obvious because right before my eyes shut, I heard Nick mumble a soft "sleep well" before muting himself.

I don't know how long I was out for but I don't think it was that long based on the sun beaming through my window.

My first instinct was to pick up my phone but as I do that, I see the FT with Nick still on. He was muted but his camera stayed on. I see him going through his closet for something, I didn't really know.

"Good morning" I mutter in my morning voice. Not a big fan of it if I was being honest. Husky, deeper than usual and sounded like I lost my voice the previous night.

I watch as Nick turns his attention to his phone and walks away from his closet. He unmuted, greeting me with the biggest smile I've ever seen him have.

"Why didn't you put down the phone?" I sat up on my bed, feeling the cold air of my ac hits me. I pulled my blanket up, leaving only one arm and my shoulders above the blanket.

"Because, I wanted to know when you woke up"

"Okay stalker, what are you doing now?" I asked. He kept walking, assuming from the shaky camera movement, but the angle I had of him was right below his chin so I couldn't see anything other than his face and the ceiling.

"I'm trying to find the suit I'm gonna wear for the rehearsal dinner. George bought me my own suit for the wedding itself tomorrow because he thought I didn't have one" He set his phone down by his bed in front of the closet and started going through it once again.

"You know, you could just rent one for tonight if you can't find it" I suggested, watching him stress over finding the suit "Nick"

"I CAN'T FIND MY SUIT" I found it funny that his voice cracked in the middle of the sentence so half the sentence sounded high pitched but I didn't want to laugh at how anxious he looked.

"Maybe listen to my suggestion next time smart ass" I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

"What was your suggestion? I wasn't listening"
