"Hey guys! I'm LaffyDaffy and I suck dick" Daphne sighed, cutting the recording she had once again
"Why the hell did you say that?" Her best friend, Kai, laughed through the discord call
"Because I suck at being a content creator!" Daphne pushed herself away from the desk and jumped on her bed behind her set up "Recording is cancelled, I need to think of new content"
Daphne heard her phone start ringing. She grabbed it from her bed and answered the FaceTime.
"DAPHNE JADE DAVIS" Kai yelled through the speakers of Daphne's phone, causing her to wince in shock
"TAKAHASHI KAEDE" Daphne gave back with lesser energy. "I never realized how Japanese your name sounds until like right now" She laughed softly
"Because I'm from Japan, smartass" They scoffed "Anyways, YOU ARE GOING TO GET UP FROM THAT BED AND WALK TO THE COMPUTER RIGHT NOW" Kai demanded "Your idea doesn't suck and it is to be done right now because you have moved the recording 4 times already and I'm getting sick of it!"
"Come on Kai! It's literally reviewing underrated Minecraft mods! Most people would want to watch reviews of famous mods not those underrated ones" Daphne sighed, rolling to her side with the camera still pointed at her
"No, most people want to see underrated mods. They are called underrated for a reason, Daph" Kai chuckled but saw the unamused face of their friend
"I need better content!" Daphne whined, covering her face with a pillow
"Then post Valorant videos.. You literally only play Valorant, Minecraft and Fortnite" Kai suggested "I can already see the title.. Making my partner blush while trying to clutch" They spat sarcastically "Eh? How was that?"
"I don't have a partner asshat! I'm literally an 19 year old high school drop out that lives in a decent apartment with a really good pc BECAUSE THATS THE PRIORITY OF AN 18 YEAR OLD THAT DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO SPEND SHIT!" Daphne yelled out, practically venting to Kai "What the hell am I doing with my life, Kai? When are you moving to America?"
"I told you that I'm moving after I finish college! I'm going to miss Japan but I'm doing all of this for you" Kai explained, dropping down on their bed "Hell my mom doesn't even approve of my decision to go there"
"I love your mom"
"Memeishly or seriously?" They asked
"Seriously. I swear I've never met you or your mom in real life but I've spoken to her and she raised a damn good piece of shit" Daphne complimented, removing the pillow from her face
"My mom has full support on Pikakai and LaffyDaffy it's honestly amazing" Kai then pulls out a bag of chips as seen on the FaceTime and starts eating "It's like living with a god"
"Anyways back to the main topic, we need to put more effort into the content making.. I just need to know how" Daphne said, completely mood changing from being sad
"Damn what a switch up... Uh maybe try to make your own mods? You studied computer science right?" Kai asked, just earning a straight, emotionless face from Daphne
"Kaede."
"Daphne. OH RIGHT YOU DROPPED OUT! Maybe get a coder to help you?" They added. "Twitter is filled with amateurs and starters so maybe find a Minecraft coder?"
Daphne jumped from her bed and went over to her pc that was still on. She ended the FaceTime, seeing as Kai was still in the discord VC with her. She began to share her screen and open up twitter.
As she suspected, her notifications were dry and barely anyone followed her.
