The barrel of a gun was pressed into my back as I walked through this place.

I had figured out it was a strip club, but I hadn't figured out what the hell I was doing here.

Girls were dancing, stripping, screaming. Lesbians made out aggressively on couches while dirty men put dirty money in their panties.

I grimaced, pulling a face as I was led to the very back of the club.

The gun was removed and I straightened my shoulders, standing still.

"Ay, ella esta aqui." Andrias said to a man standing by the door. The man looked at me, "Pretty thing ay." He laughed, kicking his foot on the door behind him three times.

The door opened and my Dad walked through, a very expensive suit tailored to his body and a drink in his hand.

"Scarlett, you are here!" He chuckled, "How wonderful it is to see you." He smirked, drunkenly stumbling over to me. "Would you like a drink?"

I shook my head, moving one step away. I could smell the alcohol on him from here.

"I heard you were coming, from Dmitri, he said you had some trouble at the wedding." My father's smirk told me everything I needed to know.

"Why did you do it?" I asked, awaiting his reaction.

Father shrugged, "I don't know what you're talking about." He feigned stupidness, "I know you, Steven and Kai's Mom all planned to kill everyone at the wedding. Planting bombs, poisoning drinks."

His smile faded immediately, "I did no such thing."

I chuckled, "So the video footage that proves it was you, isn't you?" I smiled, "Your little warehouse containing all the evidence that is currently being raided... as we speak, isn't you?" I spoke tentatively, making sure my words were clear.

Father said nothing, continuing to stare at me and grasp his drink like it was the last glass of water on Earth.

Eventually, the glass broke between his hands as blood began to seep between the cracks of his fingers. He was shaking with rage, "I don't know where or how you got that information but so help me God I will kill you right here if anything about this gets released."

He comes up close to me, face inches from mine. So close I can smell the food he had for lunch. I glared up at him, "You don't scare me anymore." I spat, pulling the gun from my holster, "And you sure as fuck, don't get to threaten me anymore."

And just like that it was a standoff.

My gun pointed at him. His gun pointed at me.

It'd been about ten minutes and my arm was getting sore.

The music in the club hadn't stopped, girls were still dancing, men were still being filthy. It's like they were used to this kind of shit.

"Put the gun down Scarlett, you know you won't kill me." Father smiled.
