It's been a few weeks since Lira's learned about the Resets, and the Underground is just about empty, besides those who want to stay.
It's worth a try.
"Flowey.. I think I want to give you my gift." Lira told Flowey who tilted his head. "Close your eyes." Lira tells him, he sighs but does what she tells him.
Lira's Soul comes out of her chest, she holds it gently in her hands, she winced in pain pad she tries spitting it in half, tears threatening to drop.
She can't help but hiss in pain as her Soul splits, Flowey doesn't open his eyes, but he furrows his brows. "Lira? Are you okay?"
"Yep. I'm great." Lira answers, moving one half over Soul to Flowey.
A bright light Blinds Lira, as everything starts to go black.
—
Flowey groaned, sitting up. "Lira—" He cut himself off, surprised on how his voice sounds.
He looks down to see, two paws covered in white fur.. He was wearing a green sweater with one yellow stripe. He covered his mouth tears stinging his eyes.
He then remembered Lira.
"Lira!" He cried, looking around the room, he sees her on the ground, laying on her back. "Lira! No, no, no...!"
Asriel made his way to Lira, it was hard, considering that he's gone so long without arms or legs, but he made it.
"Lira! Wake up! C'mon...! You promised you wouldn't leave me!" Asriel yelled, shaking Lira. Lira started squirming, her eyes starting to open.
"Flowey?" She asked, once she saw Asriel. "Lira!" He exclaimed, pulling her into a tight embrace. She laughed.
"Did you like my gift?" Lira asked. "I... Wh— Just don't scare me like that!" Asriel told her, A tear or two falling from his eyes down to his furry cheeks.
"Okay. I'll try not to." Lira chuckled, she looked exhausted. "How do you feel?" Lira asked.
"I should be asking you that!"
"Well I feel fine." Lira said, making her Soul come out her chest once again, it was glowing, but not as brightly as before, probably since Asriel has the other half now.
"Why did you do that? You could've died!" Asriel tells her. "I know. But like you said, I am kindness, I would do anything to help others.. Even if they never asked for it."
They stayed silent, just hugging each other until Lira spoke up.
"Asriel? Is it okay if I call you that now?" Lira asked, putting her soul back into her chest. "I.. Don't know." Asriel mumbled. "Well.. Do you want to see your parents?" Lira asks, he tensed. "You will have to see them one way or another."
"Okay.." Asriel finally said, getting up and offering a hand for Lira. She smiled taking it, Asriel pulled her up from the ground.
Lira let go of Asriel's hand, going outside of the room, Asriel hesitantly followed behind.
"Toriel! Asgore!" Lira called out, finding them in the living/dining room. "I have a surprise for you both." Lira tells them, Asriel hid behind her.
"What is it, my child?" Toriel asked, looking up from her book. Frisk was also in the room, looking at Lira curiously.
"Come on out.. I'm sure they'll be happy to see you." Lira told Asriel, Asriel hesitantly came out from behind Lira, giving a small wave.
"Howdy... Mum.. Dad.... Frisk."
Their eyes widened, Toriel jumped out of her chair, running to her son and giving him a hug, which he gladly accepted, clinging onto her for dear life.
"Asriel!" Toriel and Asgore exclaimed, Toriel hugging him tightly.
Asgore also went over, giving them both a hug, not caring that Toriel and him were divorced.
"How..?" Toriel asked, Pulling away from the hug, so does Asgore.
"You should tell them, Asriel." Lira told him, he nodded.
"...I- I was Flowey." He went on to a explain everything. Leaving out the resets.
For the rest of the day the small family spent time together while Lira and Frisk continued to pack, leaving them be.

Hope this was an alright chapter, this time I have an actual reason for not publishing for five days.
Someone in my family has passed. We weren't the closest, but it still hurt knowing I wouldn't be able to see them again. I'll still be taking the time to finish the book, which we're almost finished with this one. But I might be taking a bit longer to publish the chapters to be there for my family.
I hope you all understand.
But.. Besides all of that, I am very surprised that this fanfic has gotten 46 views, and thank you to the few who decided to stick around and read my shitty story.
Have a lovely day or night.
