It was late at night as Lydia used her golden staff to travel to a nearby mountain top unseen by all except one person. As she got off she noticed a bright warm light coming from a nearby cave, as she was walking to the cave she couldn't help but feel excited to see her friend again. She hadn't seen him in months, she was always too busy training. She entered the cave, the only light source coming from her friend.
"Princess!" The young boy around the age of 11-12 ran up to her, giving her a hug while his hair was still on fire.
"Careful! Your hair is on fire!" The boy looked up, noticing his hair.
"Oh No! My bad!" He put out his hair and shot a fireball at a nearby pile of sticks causing them to light and brighten up their surroundings. He grabs Lydia's hand and drags her near the pile of lit sticks and they both sit down. "It's been so long since I've seen you! What happened?"
"Ugh Dad is making me train until I master all my powers. He said a huge fight is coming up and that will be my chance to prove myself worthy to be his successor and daughter?" She looks at the ground in sadness. "I really hope I don't fail. I don't want to disappoint him after everything he's done for me..."
"You fail?! I hardly believe that will happen. You're the strongest person I know! Well besides me of course!" He smiles confidently.
"You are super strong Red. You'll be a great king one day!" As she said that he slightly blushes and slightly looks to the side. "And with you as my queen we'll be unstoppable!" She blushes then chuckles "Heck yeah! Son of the Demon Bull King and daughter of Sun Wukong! Nobody will be able to beat us!" As she's talking her stomach randomly growls. His soon following after.
"Are you hungry?" They both say at the same time. "Here I snuck some snacks from our royal kitchen!" He holds out two mini bags of chips. Lydia quickly snatches one and devours its contents as Redson has still yet to open the bag, he stares at her in shock.
"Sorry I haven't eaten in a couple of days... Dad said I should start getting in shape to prepare for the big fight." He looks at her with saddened eyes as he gives her his bag of chips. "Here take them, you are obviously more hungry than I am."
"I can't take them, your hungry too!"
"I insist."
"I said no. You eat them!"
"I just said I Insist! You eat them you clearly need to eat right now more than me!"
It later turns out to be a huge argument about who gets to eat the chips which eventually leads to Redson being force fed the chips.

It's gotten very late and it's time for them to part ways. Lydia gives Redson a tight hug which surprises him because she's not normally one for hugs. He hugs her back just as tightly. "Hey Red?" "Yes Princess?" She parts the hug to look at him "Promise we'll always be friends" "Of course!" She blushes and quickly kisses his cheek. "BYE!" She quickly leaves on her staff as he's left there stunned, and face as bright as his hair which has now lit up on flames. Once she's out of sight he sighs, smiles warmly at the sky then teleports away using his tornado of fire.
