It was a normal average day at Pigsy's noodles, well almost normal. The "Mayor" was giving a speech and just the sound of his voice was giving Lydia a major headache. He was congratulating MK for saving the city.
"Thank you for this amazing turnout!"
"Woo-hoo! Let's hear it for Monkie Kid! Hero of the city!"
"As mayor, I hereby give Monkie Kid the key to our fair city."
"Um, uh, what does this key do, exactly?"
"Oh, you'll love this. It has the power to open anything!"
"Ooh, anything? Like a pet shop full of puppies?"
"Yes. Or the door to a lion's cage, or an orphan's piggy bank, an imprisoned mistic power source. Whatever you like! Today, you can do no wrong. You've got my permission. 'Cause I'm the mayor!" He then laughs manically making Lydia cringe.
The "Mayor" throws down a smoke bomb and disappears.
"Huh I'm starting to think he's maybe not the mayor."
"You are just now thinking that?!?"
"Wow a key that can open anything!"

Today Lydia was hanging out with her uncle, she was helping him clean up the dojo.
"Hey Mac why are we cleaning this dojo? You got some company coming over or something?
"What? No. Can't I just clean up for a change?"
"You literally haven't cleaned this dojo since I left 54 years ago. There is no way your just deciding to clean now."
"Fine you got me I have somebody I plan to have over."
"Go on."
"Well I'm planning on tricking that Monkie Kid into giving me his powers."
"WHAT?!? You can't do that! He's my friend!"
"Oh really?"
"Yes really!"
"Listen. The real point of this plan is to lure Wukong to defeat him."
"And what makes you think he'll show up? He definitely didn't show up for his last successor."
"Well I've been observing in the shadows and I can tell he's shown an interest in this one."
"Well that's good. At least he won't leave another one for dead."

Lydia is walking home from the dojo when she sees MK and Mei. She is about to greet them when MK'S house bursts open and with flames emerges Redson. What the fuck is going on?
"Noodle boy, finally!"
"What are you doing in MK's house!?"
"You better not have touched my stuff!"
"Do you know how long I've been waiting here for you? Your house is... depressing. I almost feel bad taking things from you, buuut I'm going to need that magic key." He uses his powers to grab the Skeleton Key. "Yoink! So long, noodle boy!" He uses his fire teleportation to teleport into his car. He drives off Mei and MK pursuing him.
"All of that for one lousy key?!? And why is this city always getting destroyed?!? I couldn't have picked a worse place to live."
