(I decided while I'm writing chapter 8 I should talk about some of the background of the main character's mother. I'm not planning on adding her into the story, so this is meant to tie up loose ends such as how she knows some of the characters and why she had to give up her child I'm still keeping her name a secret for a sentimental scene.)

Job: Peach Maiden- People who work as Peach Maidens take care and harvest the Immortal peaches for banquets. People who work in this field are made immortal but are able to age.
How She Met Wukong: It started off as a normal day in the garden. She was the only one there for her friends had all gone on break. She enjoyed taking care of the plants during her break. She noticed something creeping towards the Immortal peach tree. She nervously walked towards the peach trees hoping it wasn't a thief and instead just one of her friends who forgot to collect the peaches...it wasn't. It was a tan colored monkey with beautiful ginger hair. She hadn't seen anything like them before and she was fascinated. She was snapped out of her trance when she saw the monkey was picking immortal peaches. She started to quietly walk towards them hoping that she would be able to get the jump on him. Instead she stepped on a twig causing a loud snap. By the time she blinked the monkey was in front of her way too close for comfort. They both just stood there silently staring each-other down before the silence was broken. "You have beautiful eyes." The Immortal female stated. The monkey lightly blushed but it was barely noticeable. He then stood back "I'm Sun Wukong, who are you?" The female gently smiles "My name is [ ]. Why were you taking the immortal peaches?"
"I Got permission from your boss of course!" He lied through his teeth. The female was skeptical of him "Which boss?" Wukong not knowing the answer to this question stayed silent. She chuckles as she picks a single peach from the tree. "Here I'll allow you take just one." She hands the monkey the peach. "But isn't that breaking the rules?!" She raises a finger to her lips "I won't tell if you won't." Wukong cheekily smiles "Alright I think I like you lady!" He waves goodbye and heads off into the distance leaving her there.
How She Met Nezha: She had heard rumors about the Third Lotus Prince being tasked to guard the map of the Samadhi Fire. She had felt bad since he was most likely there all alone and had to stay there all day. She had decided to make him a couple of sandwiches and some of her famous peach pudding. As she approached the building she knocked on the giant doors. She waited before the door was opened by a man with a scowl on his face. "What are you here for?" She stood there basket in hand kind of uncomfortable under his stare. "I heard you were guarding this place all alone so I made you some food..." She held out the basket as the man stared at the contents inside of it. "Is it poisoned?" She looked shock "Goodness no! I would never poison food!" The man clearly didn't believe her. "Eat one of the sandwiches and if you survive maybe I'll eat one." The female unwrapped one of her sandwiches and took a bite. She was fine. Against his better judgment the prince closed the door behind him and took a sandwich. As he took a bite his face lit up. The sandwich was actually really good. He sat on the steps and the female sat with him as they both ate the sandwiches. They both talked for what felt like forever before he left to go back to guarding the map.
Why She Gave Her Child Up: She was forced into an arranged marriage with a very powerful and abusive demon. She was forced to give birth to a son but instead she had a girl which made the demon very angry. One night she called Wukong to meet her in a forest because she was running away from her abusive husband. Sadly her husband caught on and followed her, grabbing a dagger that was laced with a poison able to kill immortals. After she was stabbed she somehow managed to hide from him. She wrapped her wound in leaves to stop the bleeding. She knew she had to hurry to her meeting spot before she succumbed to the poison. She wouldn't let him harm her child. She met with Wukong and as her dying wish asked him to protect her baby.
