Nightmare's Little Brothers [ShatteredDreammare Story]

Black and White

Hello!
Sorry I got a bit busy with other books, but here's Shattered!
  

   The ceremony was starting in a few minutes. Nightmare and Dream were all dressed, but Nightmare was bothered that he hadn't gotten see Shattered all day. It worried him.
   He decided he'd rather know that Shattered was okay than wait for him at the ceremony.

   Shattered meanwhile, was dressed, but not looking very happy. He sat on a cushioned stool not answering the door until they said it was time for him to go.
   He looked back to himself in the nightstand mirror. Wearing a full white suit with a black bow around his neck and gold jewelry. He loved his suit, he was so happy to be getting married. But he could barely bring himself to smile.

   A thud at his window got Shattered's attention. Quickly wipping his head to the window, he saw Nightmare climbing outside it with his eyes cover.
   "NIGHTMARE!" Shattered yelped as he ran to open the window. "I said I didn't want to be seen before the ceremony!!" He whined at Nightmare.
   "Good thing I can't see. I also can't see how to get through this window..." he found the loop hole, but not the window frame.
   "You're crazy!" Shattered's tentacles curled around Nightmare and pulled him inside before he fell. "Why on earth did you think this was a good idea! Now I've seen you in your suit." Shattered pouted in annoyance, though his tentacles continued to wrap around Nightmare's limbs and keep him close to Shattered. Nightmare's suit was all black with a black tie, and silver jewelry.
   "You wouldn't open your door. Is everything okay?" Nightmare's hands rested against Shattered's arms as Shattered's tentacle covered Nightmare's eyes.
   "Of course! I'm getting married to the most gentle and loving people in the Multiverse. This really is the happiest day of my life!" Shattered's hand cupped Nightmare's cheek as Nightmare leaned into his touch affectionately.
   "Then why are you so sad?" Nightmare's senses could see past the joy Shattered felt, and feel the negativity bubbling under the surface. Shattered frowned, and hung his head shamefully, wanting to hide in Nightmare's jacket to avoid the world.
   With a mournful sigh, Shattered looked back up to his Nightmare and slid the tentacle off from over his eyes. Nightmare hesitated before opening his eyes and gazing upon his soon to be husband, all dressed up for their wedding.

   Shattered stared back, watching Nightmare's eyes fill with love as he took the sight of Shattered in. His eyes watered as he stared into Nightmare's purple and turquoise eyes, making Nightmare worry.
   "Shattered?" He wiped a tear off Shattered's cheek, though it was getting harder to move freely, the more that Shattered's tentacles wrapped around him like a rope. The tentacles were gentle, but still restricting.

   "Your eyes are different from the other Nightmare's." Shattered admitted. "Even my own brother's eyes were just purple in his passive form."
   "Where is this coming from?" Nightmare grew with worry for Shattered as tears fell down his cheeks, Nightmare cupped Shattered's face gently.
   "You know I killed them. You've always known. So are you an idiot or something?" Shattered asked, "are you trying to sentence yourself to death by marrying me!" Shattered cried out as he accused Nightmare.

   Nightmare paused with heartbreak in his eyes for his beloved Shattered. Without the words to explain himself, Nightmare kissed Shattered's mouth. Shattered didn't fight it, but he couldn't understand, this wasn't an answer!
   "Don't try to avoid this!" Shattered yelled at him as he broke away. Nightmare kissed him again, as Shattered squeaked. Nightmare kissed his cheek and his forehead and his neck, down his arm, to his hand and his finger, soon to have a wedding ring around it.

   "I love you." Nightmare answered.
   "I know that...." Shattered was blushing and flustered from Nightmare's affection.
   "I love you and I won't let anything happen to you or Dream. And I won't let you get away from me." Nightmare vowed, "You won't hurt me."
   Shattered cried as his fears and anxieties drained out his tears. Nightmare kissed them away.
   "But I don't even deserve you and Dream..." Shattered fell into Nightmare's chest before Nightmare caught him in his arms.
   "You deserve the world, and everything in it." Nightmare muttered against his head as he rested his mouth there. Shattered's tentacles finally pulled Nightmare down for Shattered to lock his mouth with his into a deep kiss.

   "They're probably waiting for us by now." Nightmare quickly pointed out, only getting a second to escape Shattered's affection.
   "They can wait!" Shattered wasn't ready to let go of Nightmare just yet.
 

   The ceremony was everything they could've hoped for. Dream wore an all white suit similar to Shattered's, but his bow was gold and his cape was tied around his waist neatly.
   They kept Nightmare busy all night.
   Take that how you will.

I may just leave it at that. I had a chapter planned for the dinner after the ceremony with mostly just shenanigans with the bad guys and the other guests, but idk if I have the motivation to bother.
