Valentino's POV
I hate mornings.
I get up from my bed and go straight for a shower. I turn it on and stand underneath the hot steamy water.
As I wash my hair I think about Snow, my mother said she is away on business. I know she'll be away for a week, but I want to talk to her.
Sighing, I leave the shower and wrap a towel around my waist. I look in the mirror and admire my tattoos.
I leave the bathroom and go into my closet. I put on my boxers and some black sweatpants, then a black T-shirt.
I dry my hair with a towel and then head to Gia's room to wake her up. I see that she is sound asleep and I walk back out, letting her sleep.
I head to my office and sit down at my desk. I pull out the contract that Snow signed. The smile on my face is evident, ever since my mother handed it to me.
I'm so happy that I'll be seeing her more. I've never felt this way about someone before and Gia loves her, and she doesn't like anyone.
I look over everything and see it's all in order. I decide to call my mother. She picks up on the fourth ring. "Hello", she says, I can tell she's smiling. "Hi, I need a favour", I say, quietly.
"Okay, what's up?" she questions. "I need Snow's number", I reply. "I'll give it to you but I need to say this. That girl is like a daughter to me and if you break her heart, I'll break you", she says, sternly.
Never in my thirty five years of live would I have thought she would say that.
"I won't, I promise", I say, confidently. I wouldn't do that. "Okay, I'll text it to you, Lorenzo's stop", she squeals at the end.
"Okay, bye", I say hanging up. I wait for the text and eventually get it. I add the number to my contacts and save it.
I want to call her right now but she's probably busy. I shake off the thoughts and go see if Gia's awake. It's just me and her in the weekends and we play and have fun.
I see her awake and stretching. "Hey, angelo", I say smiling. I pick her up and carry her downstairs. "Hi daddy", she smiles.
We get to the kitchen and I ask "what do you want for breakfast?" "Pancakes", she giggles. "Coming right up", I say, smiling.
I make us pancakes with some fruit and we sit and eat. "Daddy, where's Snow?" Gia suddenly asks. I'm taken aback at her question and but answer it.
"She's away on a trip", I say, eating pancakes. "Oh, when is she coming back, I miss her", she says sadly. I hate seeing her sad so I say "soon, I promise".
"Okay, do you like Snow?" she teases. "W-what no, we'll maybe, is that okay with you?", I say, rubbing the back of my neck. "Yessss, I love Snow", she says happily.
