Valentino's POV

Today is the day.

Snow's back.

Gia's really excited and so am I. I missed her more than I'd like to admit. I mean I think I'm a little obsessed. But that's okay.

I'm on my way to my mother and fathers house with Gia and we're going to have dinner. As I drive Gia sings her princess songs.

We get there and I see new guards since the last ones were killed. I get Gia and we walk into their house.

"There's my favourite girl", my mother smiles. She lifts Gia up and spins her while Gia laughs. I smile at them and walk into the living room.

I see my father and ask him to go to his office. He nod and we head upstairs. We get inside and sit down and I begin to talk.

"I got a call yesterday, I have information about the Russians", I say to him. "What?" he asks curiously. "Apparently the Pakhan has the tattoo, the one the Russians have one their necks, but he has it on his forearm", I say sighing.

"Okay, what else?" my fathers asks. I pull out my phone and show him the picture I got sent. He gasps and says "that's Nikolai, Snow's friend". "I know, does she know who he is?" I question. "Wait do you?" I ask quickly.

"No I didn't and I don't know, maybe she doesn't, I'll ask her tomorrow", he's says and I freeze. "Your seeing her tomorrow?" I ask, curious.

"Yes, she's coming for lunch", he says smiling. "Okay, I'll come over too, ask her some questions", I say smiling too.

"Okay but don't pester her", he says sternly. "Okay, back to Nikolai, he's the Russians second in command", I say.

"Okay, we'll ask Snow tomorrow if she knows", my father says. "Okay", I say smirking. "Let's go or your mother will kill me", he says standing up and walking downstairs.

I follow him and we go sit at the table. I sit next to my giggling daughter and ask her "what you laughing about, hmm?". "Nonna says you love Snow", she giggles.

I look at my mother in shock but recover quickly with a smirk. She smirks back and I say "did she now", then I tickle her. She laughs loudly and tries to get away.

I stop then turn to my mother, "so Snow is coming for lunch tomorrow?" I ask her smirking. "She is?" Gia asks happily. "Yes you two can come I'm sure she won't mind", she says smiling at us.

"We'll be there", I wink. My father winks back subtly. We eat and drink then chat for a while. "Why don't you stay tonight?" My mother suggests.

"Yess daddy can we stay?" Gia pleads. I agree and I say I'm putting her to bed. I pick her up and go upstairs. Then I lay her in bed and kiss her forehead.

"Daddy, will you read me a story", she asks tiredly. "Okay I'll go get a book", I say, about to go to her playroom. She stops me and says "make one up".

"Okay", I say sitting on the edge of the bed. "Once opon a time, there was a queen, she was the most beautiful woman in the world and many princes and kings wanted her but she didn't want any of them.

She was cold to them and mean but one day she met a king, he was very very handsome, and he had a beautiful daughter. She met the two of them and slowly started to feel something.

She didn't like what she was feeling and pushed the king away a little but he was already falling in love with the queen. The queen went away for a while and the king and daughter missed her terribly.

When she came back the three of them spent loads of time together. She played with the kings daughter".

"Daddy will you finish the story another time I'm tired", she says falling asleep. I nod and kiss her forehead and then pull the blanket over her.
