Chapter 13

Snow's POV

Todays the day.

I visit them.

I'm currently driving to the place and I'm dreading it.

It's been years.

I finally get there and take the flowers out with me. I walk until I see two graves. I need down in front of the first one and start to talk.

"Hey dad, I miss you", I say sadly. "Everything is good with Ivan and Nik. Gianna and Lorenzo are good too", I say, wishing I could hear his voice.

"I know I've not been here in a while but I have my reasons", I say. I turn to the second grave. "Hello, little brother", I say, hoping he can hear me.

"I hope your doing ok up there with dad, I miss you", I say, holding the stone. "I met a little girl, her names Gia, you'd love her", I say, in a soft tone.

I talk for a bit more before placing the flowers down and sayings goodbye.

Driving to the base, I put on my cold expression. I need to feel nothing after today.

I get to the base and someone comes up to me. "B-boss someone l-left something f-for you", the girl stutters. "Who?" I ask coldly. "I-I don't know", he says, about to cry.

"Leave", I say, before walking to my office. I get there and open the door to see a bouquet of red roses and a card. 

I walk over and take the card. I scoff after seeing what's written.

What the actual fuck. Who would do this? I throw the roses in the trash along with the card. I forget about it for now and decide to do some work.

I work on my laptop for a while and then go to work out in the gym. I change in my office and head out.

I walk into the gym and go straight to the punching bag. I punch until my hands go numb. Then I hear someone say "you want to spar?". I turn around and see a familiar face.

Rhea Romanov. My oldest friend apart from Nikolai. She runs the tech department here and is one of the best fighters I know. She lives here in Russia but I've not seen her in years. A fiery red head with a heart of gold. She's about 5,4 and has green eyes.

"Hey", I say turning around. She comes over to wrap her hand but I don't. We get into the ring and circle each other. We spar for about an hour before finishing and going to her office.

"So how are you?" Rhea asks. "Fine and yourself?" I say, causally. "I'm good, how's Nik?" she asks me. "He's good. You not seen him yet?" I say, sitting down.

"Nah been busy", is all she says. "I've missed you", she says, sadly. "I've missed you too", I say, trying to be soft with her.

I hear my phone vibrate and I look at it.

Valentino: hi prettytyy princcccesss !!!!

I laugh softly at the text, knowing it was Gia. "Who's that", Rhea asks. "No one", I say putting my phone away. "A man?" she teases.

"No", is all I say. "So a woman, Snow I never pegged you for a womaniser", she giggles. I send her a look and she shuts up.

I get up to leave and so does Rhea. "I have to go, catch up soon", i say walking out the room. She nod and walks in the opposite direction.

I walk out the base to my car were I text Valentino back.

Me: hi pretty girl x

I know, I know I'm being sweet but it's Gia and she cute. I put my phone away and drive to my uncles house.
