Falling for Snow

Chapter 24

Snow's POV

It's been two days since I've been back and I'm bored.

I'm going to go to Sophie's to try on clothes. I'm driving there right now and humming along to the radio.

I get to Sophie's and park in her driveway. I get out my car and knock in the door. She opens it and smiles at me.

"Hi, we've not spoke in ages I thought something happened", she says, in a sad tone. "Nope, all good, been extra busy, I'm sorry we haven't spoke", I say walking inside.

"It's okay, all long as your okay", she exclaims happily. I nod and we make our way to her design room. I sit down while she pulls out clothes.

She takes out a blue dress and I go try it on with her doing it the zip. It's beautiful. I take it off and try on the next one, it's a white gown. It's gorgeous and I spin in it.

"Considering your skin tone, you really suit white", Sophie says in awe. "Thank you", I say taking the dress off. I try on all the clothes and pay for them though she refuses.

"I'm paying and that's it", I say giving her cash. "No take it back" she says handing it back. I put it on the table and walk to the door.

"Thanks you for the clothes and I will see you at the gala on Saturday", I say, giving her a small smile. "Yes, you better wear that white dress", she smiles.

I give her a nod and say my goodbyes before leaving and getting in my car. I drive to my place but I get a call from Valentino.

"Hello", I say. "Hi how are you?" He asks me. "I'm okay, how are you and Gia?" I ask him as I drive. "I'm fine thanks but Gia is really upset and says she only wants you", he says quickly.

"I'm on my way", I say hanging up. I drive there as soon as I can. I get there within 5 minutes and am knocking on the door.

Valentino opens it and smiles. "Thank god your here", he says getting me inside. I rush to where I hear crying and end up in Gia's room.

"What happened, darling?" I ask siting on her bed with her. She's cuddles into me and stops crying. "I t-thought something h-happened to you, I had a bad dream", she sniffles.

I almost want to cry at her that she doesn't have to care. But I don't. "I'm okay, darling" I say cuddling her. "Promise?" She questions. "Promise", I say softly.

"Can you sing to me?" Gia asks kindly. I start to think about how I don't really sing infringing anyone but Sophie but it's Gia and I'd kill for her.

"Okay, what would you like me to sing?" I ask her. "A Cinderella song, if you know them", she says tiredly. "Yes I know them", I say stroking her hair.

I sing the song softly and finish with a kiss to Gia's forehead. I hear a creak and my face turns to it. It's Valentino, looking at me with that look at I can't figure out.

"That was beautiful", he whispers. "Thank you", I whisper back, standing up. I pull the blankets over Gia and walk out of the room.

We walk down the stairs and Valentino stops me. "I like you" he says looking for a reaction. I smirk, "you like me?" I ask. "Yes I do, do you like me?" He asks. "What are we, five?" I joke. He glares and I smirk.
