2.The news

"WHAT" I shrieked
"You can't be serious" I told my unlce
"Calm down Mikasa, it'll be fine ,just for a week then next term and he needs the extra help" my uncle ,Levi ,calmy told me whilst sorting out the paperwork at his desk

I was panicking.I was told I had to privately tutor Eren and for a school year.

This cannot be happening.Oh Lord it will be so awkward.After our last conversation,all I wanna do is run away and hide at the thought of seeing him,but then again the thought of him acknowledging me again and us finally being able to talk after 2 years makes my heart pound. But what if he resents me ,what if he has cold feeling towards me.Oh lord.The one time i wish I wasn't so smart,ok I lied ,the one time I wish I wasn't the smartest.ok I lied again.Being the smartest in the school has its perks.I get to skip Pe,I don't hate activity and all,I do boxing and martial arts after-school with Levi so I'm good with that stuff, but its just when they say get into partners,I have no one.so I'd rather avoid the pain of having no friends.Sashas left the country a while back and moved to her family's farm.oh how I miss her.

Well whether I like it or not,Levi's gonna force me to go and help him.This also means that Hitch will be on my ass again.Thanks a lot Levi

~first Period~

I enter the class with Levis books clasped in my arms and my glasses barely hanging on my face.Im so glad I have short hair so that would be added to my list of annoyances right now.I carefully place it on his clean freak desk,trying not to ruin his aligning of his pens,markbook and all that crap.He thanks and dissmisses me as I head back to my seat.As I proceed to my seat,Hitch glances at me and mutters"nerdy teachers pet huh,your so fucking lame".She scoffs and laughs over to her friends whilst giving me Judgy glances as I slowly make my way to my desk at the back of the class and vertical to Hitch but on the another row. You may be wondering,well where is Eren he is supposed to be with Hutch all the time,but he's barely ever in school,yet still all the girls faun over him and he still remains popular.Its unbelievable!How could anyone want to like a man who puts no effort on his school work or education.If I were them I wish give up on his useless ass ages ago.Which I did.

During Levi's lectures, I glance over to the boy next to me,his name is Jean. Out of everyone in school,Jean is the only one who makes the effort to talk to me.I appreciate it sometimes.The other times,he's so annoying.God I just wanna punch his horse face ,to Sasha's farm.Im sure he would love it there.In school,he is friends with Eren and funnily enough I met him through Eren.They seemed to have an on off relationship,Jean always trying to hit up girls,and Eren having them faun over him effortlessly, you could see where they clashed,Jean was envious and alway made it a competition but I don't think Eren cared.Im always under the impression that Jean may have feeling for me ,but then I see him do the same things with other girls and I'm sure he's just my friend.Dont get me wrong,I do not have feelings for him but it's nice that he will talk to me regardless of how his friends treat me.
Jean is very..clumsy.Hes 'the class clown" not for good reasons tho, he's always tripping up on stuff and getting things wrong and it just makes people laugh and for girls to think him as a joke.I feel bad for the poor guy, but it is what it is.
He whispers to me"God what is this guy even saying,I'm so bored I think I'm gonna fall asleep"
I whisper back'thats my uncle , you're talking about"
He quickly and unknowingly shouts"IM SO SORRY MIKASA, I HAD NO IDEA I CALLED YOUR UNVLE BORING"
He turns to the silent class, that are all now looking at him.
"Detention" Levi mutters before he returns to his teaching.
Everyone giggles at Jeans stupidity and so do I.
He silently returns to his seat and he sighs.He glances at my smirking face and we start laughing.

Lunch break

I was sitting in my usual spot in the library, barely anyone goes there,apart from me,so I only hear the noise of the wind blowing in the trees and the page turning

The librarian walks up to me with her cup of tea saying,'science rules',I'm wondering why she didn't become a science teacher.

"Studying again Mikasa" the librarian tuts at me

"Well hange,to stay top of my class all effort needs to be put in"

She scoffs and joins me at my serene desk as we chatter about the works of science,books we've been reading and what not.
As we begin to finish our conversation, someone barges through our door.

"What are you doing here Mikasa,you need to be tutoring Eren"Levi utters ,out of breath.

"What I thought it was after school or something"I say whilst standing up in my seat.

"What,no it's at lunch,break and after school"he announces much to my horror

You have to be kidding me.Theres no goddam way I would be in the same room as Eren and for most of the day.Hell no.This is gonna be so awkward for me.As the thoughts of meeting and seeing Eren begin to flush through my head,Levi quickly snaps his fingers at me and says"Come on,go."

I hurridly grab my things and say bye to hange whilst she laughs at my misfortunes,"fill me in on the tea"she voices

"If I have the time" I murmer as I'm forced out of my comfort zone to Levi where I have to tutor,my ex best friend for how ever long I can.
