Abandoned yet I'm hungry
Trying to eat out my insides
Trying to push through the fight
The fight against this attraction
Trying to get some traction
On this slippery road a fraction of my size
Before I lose control
And the heart of my soul
Says I'll never have control
When I'm around her
Which is funny because that's the only place I want to be.
So I pray to the god I never believed in for some control.
I pray to every god in existence
Hoping one of them will respond
She's the reason I believe
I believe.
I saw heaven today
She stands on two feet and doesn't know my name
But I'd give anything to change that.
