You were told to live life to the fullest
But you've barely lived at all
Sixteen and you think you know the world
You haven't even seen life past high school.
Yet you still complain.
This world gave you life.
This world GIFTED you with life
So what makes you think it's okay to exchange it or ask for a different a size?
You are not even a fly to this universe.
It's the thought that counts.
Sixteen with so much to say
How full a mouth and how empty a brain
Drained from the alcohol and tobacco
You're cutting time off your clock more than the veins in your wrist?
Why?
There's so much more for those red eyes to see.
You're alive, so please, act like it.
