Max's pov:
"I'm here to talk to Lucas" she said.
"Lucas is this a nightmare?" I whispered asking him.
"I wish it was" he sighed.
"Lucas this is urgent!!" she yelled.
"What?" he asked annoyed.
"You have to help Jason! There's the freak and that other hotter older guy...um...what's his name? He was banging the older Wheeler..." she thought out loud.
"Steve?" I asked in shock.
"Yeah that one! There's a fight and Jason as a knife! He needs you to bring Steve down!" she explained.
"Fuck we gotta go" I spoke quickly. "Where?" I asked her angrily.
"Corner of the street" she spoke in a hurry. Lucas and I started running as fast as we could followed by Elena trying to catch up. We saw a small crowd around the fight. I ran even faster and took the lead. I pushed people to get in the middle where the fight was happening. I saw Steve struggling against three guys and Eddie fighting Jason, he was struggling. Without thinking I ran to Jason and punched him in the face letting him fall on the floor.
"Thanks Mayfield" Eddie said out of breath. I smiled at him lightly.
"Why did this started?" I asked.
"Same as the last time, he thinks I bewitched Chrissy and it's why she dates me. He just saw us walking down the street...I mean him and his minions" he explained gesturing to the guys trying to attack Steve. They all stopped screaming which I only noticed at that right moment. Everyone was quiet. Once Jason's minions realized their chief was down they stopped hitting Steve. Lucas entered the circle and came behind me.
"You knocked him out?" he asked.
"No I wished. He's only down for a bit" I told him letting out a chuckle.
"Good job Mad Max" he smiled. Jason got up and pointed his finger at me.
"You." he whispered. "You" he spoke loudly. "Stay out of it" he ordered. "This freak is satanist and took MY girlfriend..." he started.
"GOD!" I heard Chrissy yell. I turned around too see the girl as I never saw her. Light make up, a band tee, a leather jacket, a baggy jean and some combat boots on. She was transformed and it suited her. "I'm not YOUR girlfriend anymore!" she annoyingly replied. "Jesus what do I have to say to make you understand that?" she sighed. Eddie looked at her with a proud smile.
"But..." he mumbled. "Ginger...You shouldn't have hit me! This is none of your business" he continued changing the subject. "And you..." he started pointing at Lucas coming a bit closer. "I trusted you. I gave you a chance" he declared. "You may still be on the basketball team but you're not in THE team anymore" he exclaimed. "You betrayed us" he said. "You went with those freaks, you're dating a bitch..." he continued. Lucas took a step out of anger ready to punch him, I retained him, I didn't want him to have troubles. "Bye Sinclair, you chose your side." he smirked. The crown stayed quite and people started leaving as Jason and his minions walked away and I went over to Steve.
"You okay Mom?" I teased him.
"Never call me that" he laughed. "Yeah, I mean they hit pretty hard but not hard enough for me to mope around" he explained. He walked towards Lucas. "You okay kid?" he asked placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah..." he spoke quietly. I turned around and saw Elena still standing there.
"Bye freaks" she laughed getting running back to Jason. Steve returned to his car, Eddie and Chrissy went back to their walk as Lucas and I walked to his house in complete silence. Once there I realized that I left the food in the oven. I ran and took it out, the pie was pretty okay, as the pasta were still slowly cooking. I turned around and saw Lucas standing.
