Max's pov:
My father threw himself on Lucas as he started punching him, Lucas tried to dodge but it didn't work as he took the punch. I tried to stop my father but he sent me against the wall causing the back of my head to bang against the wall. I looked at Erica, she was scared as hell. Lucas was taking the lead as my father was the one getting punched in repeat.
"Erica get out!" Lucas yelled to her as she ran out of the room. I saw Lucas getting punched, I tried to get up but failed. I watched him being helpless. I stood up and tried to walk as straight as I could. I took the gun in my hand. Lucas was pinned against the wall my father strangling him. I threw myself on him. He slept back and punched me harshly. I stood up as fast as possible as he was going back to Lucas. I aimed his back's right side and shot him. He fell on the ground growing. I felt my anger growing.
"You fucking deserve that!" I yelled.
"You're so pathetic you don't even dare take my life away" he scoffed a bit of blood laughing. I saw Erica walk back in the room full of fear.
"You'll tell them you were training and by accident shot yourself. You'll insist for me to go back to Hawkins!" I ordered my father.
"And if I don't?" he smirked.
"I'll shoot you dead" I said as cold as I ever said anything. I had no fear in my eyes. They were full of anger and determination.
"You wouldn't" he laughed. I armed the gun looking at him.
"You'll tell them you were training and by accident shot yourself. You'll insist for me to go back to Hawkins" I repeated as I took a step closer. I suddenly saw fear in his eyes, but not in only his, in Erica's and Lucas.
"She's back" Lucas whispered to himself.
"Who?" Erica asked.
"Mad Max" he whispered. My father gulped and winced in pain.
"Okay okay I promise" he said through the pain.
"Call the emergency Erica" I ordered her. She did and placed the phone to my ear as I was still aiming at my father.
"Hello my father was training and shot himself I have to go and can't do anything you have to send someone real quick" I said falsely worried.
"Okay we're on our way" they said and hung up. I cleaned the gun so my prints wouldn't be on it. I took every other bullet out of it so my father wouldn't try anything and placed it, with a tissue to avoid putting another print on it, in his hands.
"You're a monster" my father yelled.
"I know" I whispered to myself before exiting the room with the Sinclair siblings. I was still on survival mode, I stopped in the middle of the streets as it started raining. Did I actually shot him? Did I...I felt my head going round and round. The cold water was pouring on my skin. I looked at my shirt covered in blood. I felt my body fell on my knees. Some arms grabbed me and putted me up.
"Max?" Lucas asked.
"Uh uh" I said in utter shock.
"Where are we going?" he asked.
"Please don't break up" I muttered.
"What?" he asked confused.
"Uh I don't know" I answered one of his questions.
"Okay I know why don't we go to our grandparents?" Erica proposed.
"Looking like this?" he said. We were both covered with some blood, lips cut in half...It was almost scary to see.
